If you like to keep your finger on the pulse of everything that’s new and innovative in the world of beauty, here’s the latest product to add to your wish list: the StylPro Makeup Brush Cleaner and Dryer.
The beauty tool, created by UK company styl by Tom Pellerau, has become the most Googled term worldwide in the cosmetics category in the last week, with the searches for it increasing over 1200 per cent, and it’s been labelled as a breakout search term in Australia. In a nutshell: the Internet is frothing over the electronic makeup brush cleaner.
So what’s all the fuss about?
Well, to start, the nifty gadget takes a lot of the hard work out of the makeup brush washing process thanks to the clever design that allows the brushes to spin incredibly quickly in a brush cleaning formula (you can also use water and soap), cleansing the bristles of any dirt and residue in seconds. And while we have seen brush cleaners like this before, what sets this one apart is that once you remove the brush out of the water, the spinning function works to fast-track the drying process, giving you a clean, dry, ready-to-use brush in a flash. There’s no waiting for days for the bristles to air dry. Brilliant, right?
You can watch this quick video to see exactly how the process works:
The StylPro Makeup Brush Cleaner and Dryer kit comes with the cleaning bowl and the StylPro device, as well as eight silicone attachments, each a different size to accommodate different brushes. So it's basically got all of your brushes covered.
For months we've had to rely on ordering internationally and waiting forever for delivery, but we've just discovered this innovative makeup brush washing tool will finally be available in Australia in Shaver Shop stores and online from April 17 and will cost $99.99.
Keen to stock up on some more innovative beauty product? These are some of the genius beauty inventions we’ve discovered in the last year.
