Appearing in a Gucci fragrance campaign seems like a celebrity rite of passage these days, with everyone from Harry Styles to Lana Del Rey and Jared Leto playing parts in the brand’s ultra-romantic and elaborate storylines.

Total dreamboat Jodie Turner-Smith has now joined the ranks of this season’s enchanting Gucci Bloom campaign, starring alongside other amazing women (Florence Welch, Anjelica Huston and Susie Cave) in a mystical moonlit mise-en-scène that is breathtaking to behold with all the fantastical elements we’ve come to expect from Gucci.

In one beautifully shot video on the brand’s Instagram, we hear Jodie’s calming voice as a montage of countryside imagery and bold red Bloom bottles floods the screen. “Can you feel that? Take a moment and it’ll come to you. You only get a scent like that in full bloom.” Enchanting, right?

In an interview with Essence magazine, Turner-Smith revealed her excitement at the prospect of working with her fellow Gucci faces saying, “It’s great to kind of be invited to play with amongst other women who I think are so incredible, amazing, and iconic.”

“It’s fun to be part of this family. I find that Gucci doesn’t subscribe to those narrow views of beauty. I find it’s much bolder and at times eccentric and interesting,” she elaborated.

After seeing the results of their first collaboration, we can’t wait to see what else the actress creates with the brand.

Love a celeb-endorsed scent? This budget buy is a dupe for Rihanna’s favourite spritz.

Since then, her keen interest in fashion and beauty has landed her gigs as a Digital Content Producer and Beauty Editor with titles like Girlfriend, Refinery29, BEAUTYcrew and beautyheaven. She loves the way seemingly innocuous topics like skin care and style have the ability to put a smile on people’s faces or make them think about themselves a little differently. A big believer in self love and experimentation, Briar has made a point of becoming the Australian beauty industry’s unofficial guinea pig for unusual treatments and daring hair trends. When she’s not testing out the latest beauty launches, Briar is big on broadening her horizons, mostly in the form of food but she’s also partial to travelling to new destinations both near and far (and of course, allocating an extra bag to bring their best beauty offerings home with her).
