The rose moisturiser that hydrates even the most dry and dehydrated winter skin

Here’s what our Review Crew® had to say about this Aussie moisturiser

The product

No matter your skin type, trying to combat the inevitable drying effects of winter is something that we all struggle with. But it’s also difficult to find an intensely hydrating formula that isn’t so thick and rich that it makes your makeup slide off your face half-way through the day.

Jurlique’s Moisture Plus Rare Rose Lotion boasts a lightweight texture that doesn’t compromise in the hydration department. Packed full of prickly pear extract, senna seed polysaccharide and rose extract to replenish moisture levels, dry and dehydrated winter skin is left feeling soft, soothed and radiant.

Plus, with a non-greasy, wearable texture, your makeup will remain intact the whole day through.

Our panel of Review Crew® members put this product to the test.

The panel

Beauty Crew sent Jurlique Moisture Plus Rare Rose Lotion to a panel of our trusted Review Crew® members aged between 19 and 29 years old who struggle with dry and dehydrated skin.

The lowdown

Here’s what the Review Crew® loved about Jurlique Moisture Plus Rare Rose Lotion.

How hydrating the moisturiser was: Many reviewers noted that the moisturiser helped to impart their dry, dull winter skin with much-needed hydration and a glowing radiance.

How well the lotion prepped their skin for makeup: Members loved how great their makeup looked on top of the satin-finish moisturiser. They also liked that the lotion dried down quickly to ensure fast and easy application of their foundation.

The rose scent: Review Crew® members found the rose scent added a luxe quality to the moisturiser that made them feel like they were treating themselves to a high-end product. Some reviewers noted that they found the scent relaxing and loved applying it before they went to sleep every night.

The verdict

“The scent was super calming before bed, and I felt like it was applying a bit of luxury to my face after a big day (best feeling!). It was lightweight, non-greasy and left my skin feeling soft, supple and moisturised. My skin has felt extra dry/dull this winter and I really think this helped.”

“It has a lightweight feel when applied and doesn't feel too heavy for daily use on normal skin. That being said, it still kept my skin hydrated and supple throughout the day. It also smells so damn good - I’m in love with the rose scent!!!”

“It glided very easily onto the skin, feeling so lightweight and breathable once applied and gave the skin a beautiful radiant glow. This lotion provided fantastic hydration to my skin without it being too heavy! It helped to improve my complexion by aiding in the fading of hyperpigmentation and acne scars.”
