Two anti-ageing ranges put to the BEAUTYcrew test
When it comes to ageing skin, the biggest concerns for women are typically lines, wrinkles, and a loss of firmness and volume.
Beauty Crew selected a group of women from the Review Crew® panel, and gave them the task of testing two L’Oréal Paris Revitalift ranges – Revitalift Laser X3 and Revitalift Filler [HA].
Women, aged around 40, concerned with wrinkles tested the Revitalift Laser X3 Serum and Daily Cream, while those around 45-years-old who are concerned with loss of volume and firmness used Revitalift Laser Filler [HA] Revolumising Serum, followed by the Revitalift Laser Filler [HA] Anti-Ageing Moisturiser.
The Review Crew® verdict for the Revitalift Laser X3 range:
The women who tested the Revitalift Laser X3 range found that the serum absorbed really quickly into skin, and combined with the Daily Cream, left their skin feeling soft and hydrated, with some commenting on the glow the duo gave their complexion.
Some women did find the products a bit too rich, with some commenting they preferred to use the moisturiser at night.
In terms of wrinkle reduction, overall, the Review Crew® panel didn’t notice significant changes but most commented that they are happy to keep using the products.
The Review Crew® verdict for the Revitalift Filler [HA] range:
The Review Crew® panel of women who tested the Revitalift Filler [HA] Serum and Anti-Ageing Moisturiser found that the products left their skin smooth, supple and hydrated, with some mentioning they noticed improved firmness and a reduction in some of their finer lines.
Many of the testers found the moisturiser to be light and non-greasy, but some advised allowing time for the products to absorb before moving onto makeup.
The Review Crew® rating for the Revitalift Filler [HA] range:
The products for this Review Crew® trial have been provided by L’Oreal Paris to Pacific Magazines’ BEAUTYcrew for the purpose of trial and review by BEAUTYcrew members.
