Beauty Crew sent La Roche-Posay Toleriane Dermallergo Overnight Moisturiser to a panel of women aged 18 and older with sensitive, allergy-prone or oily skin in search of lightweight protection and hydration that wouldn’t cause excess oil production.

The lowdown

Here’s what the Review Crew® loved about La Roche-Posay Toleriane Dermallergo Overnight Moisturiser.

The way it soothed redness and irritation: Reviewers really loved the fact that they could apply the moisturiser at night before bed and wake up to soothed skin. We’re talking a minimisation of redness and a clearer complexion too.

It was incredibly hydrating: Multiple Review Crew® members pointed out that while the moisturiser was lightweight, it was also “incredibly hydrating”.

It didn’t cause them to break out: A few reviewers were concerned the hydrating formula would be too much for their skin, but to their surprise the moisturiser kept their skin hydrated without blocking their pores or causing breakouts.

“I have been using the Toleriane Dermallergo Overnight moisturiser for a few weeks now and have been really liking it. The moisturiser comes in lovely packaging with a handy pump dispenser which reduces bacteria transfer. The texture of the moisturiser is quite light and runny but once on the skin it has amazing moisturising and restorative properties. I found it soothed my dry and sensitive skin much more effectively than a number of previous night creams I’ve used recently. I also noticed it did not break out or irritate my acne prone skin, which is another huge plus as heavy night creams can be a trigger. I love that all La Roche-Posay products have been tested on allergy prone skin, so you know it’s very unlikely to break you out. It has an almost imperceptible fragrance, very light and inoffensive.”

“I was excited to be chosen to trial this product and it definitely didn’t disappoint. I loved the packaging of the Toleriane Dermallergo Overnight Moisture, a beautiful and striking blue tube with a pump dispenser. The size of the product makes it perfect to slip into a handbag or clutch for on the go applications. As for the product itself, amazing. After application I noticed that my skin no longer felt tight and itchy, it was now becoming calmer, less irritated and red and incredibly moisturised. I only needed to use a very small amount to cover my whole face and neck and it absorbed into my skin quickly.”
