Lianna Perdis reveals her top beauty tips
Plus her sneaky double use for primer
As the daughter of Aussie makeup icon Napoleon Perdis, 17-year-old Lianna Perdis is definitely on the fast-track to big things– she walked in her first show at New York Fashion Week, has her own makeup line under her dad’s brand (Total Bae!) and has recently graced the cover of Girlfriend with Aussie singer Jai Waetford. Given her beauty cred, we sat down with the teen and asked her to reveal her top beauty tips and hacks.
#1/ Natural is always better
Lianna’s attitude is “less is more…I go for a natural look. It’s not about masking your face,” she says. Her overarching mantra is that while makeup can help you look different, enhancing your natural beauty is the best way to go.
#2/ Moisturising is key
While we’re often pedantic about caring for our skin in summer (because more of it is on show) we tend to drop the ball a little in winter. Lianna’s top skin care tips for winter is focusing on “cleansing and making sure your skin is moisturised.” She explains that your skin is often drier in winter, so lots of moisturiser will help you maintain a perfect lightly dewy coverage.
#3/ Primer can be an amazing multitasker
The model’s go-to makeup hacks include an inner corner highlight to open up the eyes, as well as using primer in an unusual way. “When I do my mascara, I take a Q-tip and dip it in primer to rub any specks off. I also like to smudge a bit of eyeshadow into my lash line – it helps define your eyes without looking like you’ve tried,” she says.
