This primer is going viral on TikTok

Mikayla Nogueira’s “favourite high end makeup primer”

BEAUTYcrew Beauty Editor / January 25 2022

Beauty TikToker Mikayla Nogueira has delivered some real doozies when it comes to product recommendations.

Remember when she changed all of our lives (and subsequently found her wedding day foundation) after discovering the Tom Ford Traceless Soft Matte Foundation?

Well she’s only gone and done it again but this time it’s in the form of a disturbingly long-lasting makeup primer that also happens to be hydrating AF.

We’re not screaming, you’re screaming.

According to Nogueira, the MILK MAKEUP Hydro Grip Primer ($52 at Sephora) is where it’s at.

“It’s my number one favourite high end makeup primer,” the TikToker gushed in her review. “The primer grips makeup to your skin, it's hydrating and it has a cooling effect.” She also loves the texture.

But she’s not the only creator on the social platform singing its praises.

In fact a few of TikTok’s more notable beauty influencers have shared their love for the ultra-grippy formula saying it’s a no-brainer for days when you can’t have your makeup sliding off your face (or you’re stuck wearing a mask all day) – #relatable.

We’ve also seen a few beauty TikTokers get crafty with the stuff by utilising the Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Primer in their makeup tutorials.

Think: dewy, glowy skin all day round without the threat of looking like an oil slick ever even broaching your mind. What a time to be alive!

Not every TikTok recommendation is pure gold. Take the TikTok frozen beauty blender hack for example…
