The product

If you want to reap the luminescent rewards of highlighting and are looking for the perfect product that will deliver a warm, metallic finish, then Maybelline New York’s Face Studio Master Chrome Metallic Highlighter is just the ticket. The powder highlighter can be applied over foundation or worn alone for a dewy, all-over glow.

Beauty Crew sent Maybelline New York Face Studio Master Chrome Metallic Highlighter to a panel of women aged between 18 and 39 who wanted to master the hottest makeup trend of the moment: highlighting.

The lowdown

Here’s what the Review Crew® loved about the Maybelline New York Face Studio Master Chrome Metallic Highlighter:

How pigmented the formula was: The majority of testers loved how pigmented the powder formula was, with many liking how they could apply a soft wash of product for a subtle glow or build it up for an intense strobed effect.

How easily it blended into the skin: Some testers were initially concerned that the metallic powder would leave chunks of glitter on the skin. However, they were all pleasantly surprised as the reflective pearl pigment blended seamlessly, creating a flawless all-over glow.

The metallic finish the powder created: The number one thing members loved about the highlighter was the warm, metallic chrome finish it left on the skin, with many commenting that they had found their new Holy Grail illuminator in this product.
