Pat McGrath has released an official Bridgerton collection

The promise of Season 2 just got even better

BEAUTYcrew Beauty Editor / March 25 2022

There’s something so undeniably satisfying about beauty-centric brand collaborations.

Remember when two of our favourite names in beauty and homewares jumped into bed together and brought us the Ikea x Byredo collaboration

We thought that was pretty sweet, but now it turns out one of the most covetable makeup brands is honouring the newest season of one of the most binge-worthy shows on Netflix…

Introducing: the Pat McGrath Labs x Bridgerton collaboration.

The makeup collection takes its cues from the period drama (obviously) but it still holds up against all of Pat McGrath’s other luxe makeup offerings.

Yep, that’s right, you can get your hands on Bridgerton-themed MTHRSHP eyeshadow palettes and Skin Fetish Sublime Skin Highlighters. We’re not screaming, you’re screaming.

To top it all off, Bridgerton star Niola Coughlan is heading up the campaign for the collaboration.

She even created a premiere look from the comfort of her own home using the range, after she’d come down with Corona and couldn’t walk the red carpet.

Aunty Pat also served up a few stunning looks via Instagram using the Pat McGrath Labs x Bridgerton collection that have left us genuinely considering mining our sad little bank accounts to purchase the entire range.

The mother of makeup has brought us not one but two Bridgerton-themed MTHRSHP eyeshadow palettes, and we are utterly grateful for the options on offer.

Pat McGrath Labs x Bridgerton MTHRSHP Belle of the Ball Palette ($98 at Pat McGrath Labs) is a triumph of wearable pinks, turquoise shimmer and a dazzling true-gold hue.

Meanwhile, the Pat McGrath Labs x Bridgerton MTHRSHP Diamond of the First Water Palette ($98 at Pat McGrath Labs) is a moody, cool-toned jewel of a palette, full of mauves, pinks and a crystal baby blue shade.

As far as McGrath is considered, why choose one blush when you could enjoy a selection of three or more?

She’s delivered a smorgasbord of wearable blush shades in the Pat McGrath Labs x Bridgerton Blushing Delights Palette ($91 at Pat McGrath Labs) and Pat McGrath Labs x Bridgerton Divine Blush + Glow Trio Love At First Blush ($79 at Pat McGrath Labs).

While Bridgerton may be a period drama, it doesn’t mean that McGrath has been a stickler for historical accuracy when it comes to this collection.

Rather than powdering yourself to the high heavens like a Georgian prince, reach for a touch of glimmering highlight for face or body.

The Pat McGrath Labs x Bridgerton Skin Fetish Sublime Skin Highlighter ($91 at Pat McGrath Labs) and Pat McGrath Labs x Bridgerton Skintillating Diamond Body Shimmer ($79 at Pat McGrath Labs) should do the trick nicely.

As for finishing touches?

McGrath’s created the Pat McGrath Labs x Bridgerton Legendary Wear Velvet Kohl Eyeliner ($43 at Pat McGrath Labs) for amping up the drama when it comes to eye makeup (though this is a product you’ll have to wait for as it doesn’t ship until the 6th of April).

There’s also Pat McGrath Labs x Bridgerton SatinAllure™ Lipstick ($43 at Pat McGrath Labs) to covet too. Available in seven shades such as romantic pinky-nudes and a standout red hue, there’s something for everyone’s tastes.

When Nicola Coughlan isn’t stunning us all with her acting and makeup skills, she’s making commentary on society’s obsession with her body
