Poppy Delevingne has our ultimate morning beauty routine

She uses all of the products on our wish list

November 11 2020

Model and actress Poppy Delevingne, 32, is the eldest child in the Delevingne clan; however, her younger sister Cara is the most recognisable. Despite pursuing a career in the entertainment simultaneously, Poppy insists there is no rivalry between the two. "I am not jealous of her," Poppy told Evening Standard. "I always knew she was going to be something special, since she was a child."

A self-confessed "beanpole", Poppy is a classic beauty and fashion industry veteran. Over the past decade, she's worked with everyone from Burberry to Louis Vuitton. In fact, it was elder sister Poppy who inspired Cara to give modelling a go.

Recently, Poppy was in Australia as part of her role as an ambassador for Jo Malone London. Here, BAZAAR chats to the New York-based model about her beauty routine—specifically, the products she uses every morning. Over to you, Poppy:

Skin care

"I wash my face with Crème de la Mer face wash ($112 at David Jones), which I absolutely adore. I follow that with the SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic ($188 at Adore Beauty) and B5 moisturising serum ($88 at Adore Beauty). Then, I add a light pat of Dr. Barbara Sturm Glow Drops ($168 at Net-a-porter), which is beautiful.

"Then I use Estee Lauder's Advanced Night Repair Eye Synchronized Complex II ($100 at Myer), which I love. And Jo Malone London does a really good lip balm ($50 at Jo Malone London) which has vitamin E in it."

Makeup

"I keep it to the bare minimum when I'm not working because part of my job is wearing a lot of makeup. If I am going to wear makeup I do a really light concealer—I love MAC concealers ($32 at Myer). Then I use Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge ($50 at Myer) which is great for cheeks and lips. I also love the Lancôme Hypnose Doll Eyes Mascara ($52 at Sephora)—and that's pretty much it."

Fragrance

"Fragrance goes on as soon as I'm walking out the front door. I spray up into the air and I wait a second before getting into the middle of it all and doing a little dance through it, then out the door I go. "On Queer Eye, they say, 'Spray, delay, walk away'—brilliant. I second that.

"For me I find fragrance very evocative and it can transport you and take you back somewhere and fill you with joy. I really do believe that. Peony & Blush Suede Cologne ($198 at Jo Malone London) is what I'm wearing today. It's my current favourite from Jo Malone London because it's light, pure and pretty—but it's got a little kick to it."
