The British Fashion Awards red carpet *always* delivers – and we’re not just talking about the whole fashion thing. The A-lister’s absolutely killed it on the beauty front this year, showing off a heap of jaw-dropping hair and makeup looks. Plus, there was a surprise visit from Meghan Markle, so it was an all-round epic event!
Get ready for all the inspo you need for the upcoming party season, because here are our favourite beauty looks straight from the 2018 British Fashion Awards red carpet.
Georgia May Jagger
Um, Georgia May Jagger has neon pink hair and it looks so darn good. Unexpected? Yes. Badass? Totally! Pink is the colour of the moment, after all (just see here, here and here). As you can probably guess, Georgia kept the rest of her makeup look pretty low-key to let her statement hair take centre stage. We’ve got a feeling that she’s just paved the way for a new hair colour trend.
Oh, Suki! She looks like an actual doll and we can’t get enough of this entire beauty look. The actress wore her hair in a stunning ‘60s-inspired hairstyle, which was teased at the crown and styled in a flip at the ends, giving her beauty look an effortless vintage vibe. She teamed her ‘do with kohl-rimmed eyes and a peachy-pink hue on her lips.
Will Rita Ora ever have a red carpet beauty look we don’t love? The singer arrived with her platinum blonde locks swept back under a big, glitzy headband. She paired the statement hair accessory with a soft brown smoky eye and a bold swipe of highlighter under her brows. Those big dramatic lashes and a glossy red lip completed her eye-catching look.
Wearing quite possibly the sultriest eye makeup look we ever did see, Kaia Gerber teamed a brown smoky eye with kohl-rimmed eyes and her signature polished brows. She added a subtle touch of highlighter in the inner corners of her eye, which made her entire makeup look pop. So simple, yet so effective.
Poppy Delevingne took to the red carpet wearing a soft and feminine makeup look, showing off her beautiful glowing skin, a pink eyeshadow look and a pinky-nude lip. Her blonde locks were worn in loose, elegant waves, which were tucked behind her ears, giving her look a stylish and sophisticated edge.
That baby glow! The Duchess made a surprise appearance on stage and everyone absolutely *flipped* out. The expectant mum wore her hair parted in the middle and tied back in a sleek low bun (there’s seriously not a hair out of place), accompanied by her signature pared-back makeup look. Although, we do spy a bit of a smoky eye going on!
Victoria Beckham went with her signature red carpet makeup look – and why not, it works so well! The singer-turned-fashion-designer went for a classic smoky eye and nude lip combo, showing off her goal-worthy complexion (seriously, we need to know more of her skin care secrets – ASAP).
Winnie Harlow stunned with a bright pink smoky eye, blended above her lids and below her lash line. We think this hue works perfectly with Winnie’s eye colour (plus, it’s so on trend!). Brown-eyed gals, take note!
Liv Taylor showed us an easy way to step up a winged-out eyeshadow look, adding a dusting of highlighter in the inner corners of her eyes and below the lash line to make her blue eyes look bigger and brighter. Also, we need to know the name of this stunning pink lippie, because we’re pretty sure we just found our Holy Grail shade.
Kendall Jenner looked actual #skingoals, wearing her hair tied back in a low bun to show off her glowing and flawless complexion. Her overall makeup look was pretty minimal, and she opted for a simple pink gloss and polished brows.
