Margot Robbie just showed us the grown-up way to wear pink makeup

Margot Robbie pink makeup trend

Proof this trend isn’t going anywhere

Pink makeup has been having a MAJOR moment as of late, and we are So. On. Board. It’s seriously everywhere (just check out these stunning celebrity red carpet looks), although some of us are still figuring out how to wear it without looking like a 12-year-old.

That’s where our friend Margot Robbie comes in. She just did us all a solid and showed us how to master the whole pink makeup thing in one breathtaking look. And apparently when it comes to pink makeup this season, more is more!

Yep. We’re obsessing over this ENTIRE look.

The star matched THAT pink CHANEL blazer with a pretty pink eyeshadow across her lids, extending it into the inner corners of her eyes. Instead of bringing the colour up to her brow bone or out towards her temples in a classic ‘winged’ look, makeup artist Pati Dubroff kept Margot’s look fresh and sophisticated by stopping the colour at the outer corner of her lid. To copy the look, we recommend using Elizabeth Arden Eyeshadow Trio in Oh So Pink.

The star also showed off a pink stained pout (Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips in Secret Salma should do the trick) and a sweep of blush over her cheekbones (try NARS Blush in Orgasm).

While many of us would isolate the pink makeup trend to either our eyes, lips or nails (read: for fear of looking over the top), Margot goes to show that adding a touch of pink to your entire makeup look actually balances out the whole trend and somehow makes it appear totally effortless and sophisticated.

On the hair front, hairstylist Bryce Scarlett kept the star’s blonde lob looking pretty and polished with a deep side part, which was swept over in an elegant wave (and do we also spy a big black ribbon?!).

This would have to be one of our favourite Margot Robbie looks to date - and that’s a pretty big call!
