Aveeno Skin Renewal Smoothing Lotion

After reading the reviews from the Beauty Crew trial I decided to give this Smoothing Lotion a go. I love the pump bottle it comes in as it's easy to use and there's no lid to screw back on with messy hands. The lotion is thick and white and it absorbs into my skin really well and doesn't leave me feeling tacky or greasy. My legs have been quite dry and this lotion has kept them hydrated and I've also noticed that I'm not getting as many in grow hairs after shaving which is an added bonus. The lotion has no fragrance which I prefer because something fragrances can sting and cause irritation to my skin even though I don't have sensitive skin. I would recommend this to everyone including those with sensitive skin.

I am a dermatitis (eczema) sufferer, usually centred on the front and back of my hands. At the time of starting the trial, I thought nothing of it. I used the aveeno skin renewal smoothing lotion in pairing with the aveeno skin renewal scrub. Within a week of using the skin renewal smoothing lotion, my dermatitis reduced to almost nothing. No more redness, no more irritation. All my skin is soft and smooth and for the most part- even. I'm thoroughly impressed with this moisturizer and would definitely buy it myself, and reccomend it to everyone :).

The AVEENO Skin Renewal Smoothing Lotion has a subtle yet delicious scent that moisturises your skin for hours on end. I used this after every shower as I tend to have showers on the warmer side along with the winter air, this spells a recipe for dryed out skin. Ensuring I lather myself up afterwards leaves my skin feeling hydrated and visibly soft. Moisturising lotions with scents tend to cause irritation to my sensitive skin however Aveeno skin renewal lotion did not cause any sort of reaction or irritation. Its so effective when used in conjunction with the Aveeno Skin Renewal Scrub. I know it lasts for hours because when I go for my next shower I can feel the water wash off the residue of the lotion which means it's lasted for hours and hours.

I really liked The AVEENO Skin Renewal Smoothing Lotion! i tend to get quite dry legs, and they can sometimes become itchy and rough - especially after shaving. The AVEENO Skin Renewal Smoothing Lotion was a game changer! Its nice and thick but also soaks right into the skin and does not remain sticky, tacky or wet to the touch- which was one of my main concerns. i loved this! and i will be re purchasing The AVEENO Skin Renewal Smoothing Lotion! I did also use the scrub, but not before every use.

This moisturiser was such a pleasent surprise. My skin instantly felt soothed and moisturised, and appeared supple and glowy. The texture of the lotion was not too thick, but still provided long lasting moisture. I was so excited with how non-greasy this product was whilst still feeling so moisturising. I am notoriously bad at remembering to moisturise and yet this lotion kept my skin smooth and supple for days. I immediately noticed a healthy glow to my skin. I have keratosis pilaris and constant allergy rashes on my arms (reactions to dust), and this product helped to soothe and reduce the visable redness on my arms. This lotion was also amazing as a hand-cream at night for my dry, over sanitised skin, providing immediate moisture. If you are looking for a new moisturiser that improves redness and skin texture, this is the one!

I have been trialing this product in combination with the exfoliating scrub from the same range. My focus area for using this product have been my upper arms which suffer from KP. It helped calm this area and remove some redness. I enjoyed the packaging of this product, which comes in a hygienic pump pack made from 30% recycled plastic. The lotion is fragrance free which means it does not clash with other perfumes products I use. I tend to find the smell of moisturisers and lotions off putting so this was a plus. The product is not greasy and absorbs into skin almost immediately. I found I could get dressed within minutes of applying. I will consider buying this moisturiser again in future.

I’m pleasantly surprised by this cream. I’ve been using it on my legs which get very dry and scaly especially after I’ve been on holidays at the ocean or during winter. The cream is thick but not oily and doesn’t leave a residue. The gentle and easily application has removed the dry skin off my legs. Using it all over my body leaves it feel soft and supple. It’s been a lovely cream and I’ve put my dad onto it who suffers from very dry aged skin. I also love how it’s fragrance free and it doesn’t irritate my skin which also suits my dad. I recommend people with dry, scaly or bumpy skin to give this product a try, because it’s well worth it. The affordability is also great, I’m really pleased with the outcome and coupled with the exfoliating scrub leaves your skin feels youthful again

I was lucky enough to trial this product as part of the beauty crew. I was extremely surprised by the Aveeno Skin Renewal smoothing lotion! I am not usually a fan of body moisturiser because I have never come across one that didn't make me feel wet or tacky for ages after putting it on but this moisturiser sunk into my skin so quickly with no off putting scent and lasted well over 24 hours which I thought was amazing! I have keratosis pilaris on the backs of my arms and it did wonders at smoothing any irritation I had and lasted well into the next day. It was also gentle enough to use on my young kids as well and didn't leave any irritation. I will definitely repurchase!

I’ve been a huge fan of Aveeno since my teenage days so I would beyond excited when I saw that beautycrew was partnering with them! First of all I love that this is unscented so it doesn’t mess with the perfume I put on afterwards! I can even mix my perfume into this for an intense long lasting scent. The product itself is super silky and glides on easily without too much effort. It’s made my skin feel like butter and I’ve noticed my razor pumps have slowly disappeared. At the affordable price as well, I would highly recommend trying this out!

Same with the scrub I was hesitant to try as actives on my skin can be a lot but this was so soothing. I apply it everyday after having a shower and have noticed such a big improvement in my skin. It doesn’t irritate me in any way. Even after using the scrub and putting this on I am left with soft smooth skin. So impressed with this range. It feels like it provides a lot of moisture but it doesn’t sit heavy on the skin so I think even in hotter weather I will still be able to use this and not feel like I’m smothered. Will definitely continue to use. Highly recommend.

I have been using this product together with the smoothing scrub as part of my night time shower routine and I can see why they are ideal "sister" products. The bumps on my arms and legs aren't as noticeable and my dry scaly skin is no more the next morning after my shower. Some lotions I've tried in the past have this icky, thick feeling as you're rubbing it into your skin. I certainly didn't have this issue at all with the Aveeno Skin Renewal Smoothing Lotion. It was light, absorbed quickly and was minimal fuss with the pump action bottle. For this budget-friendly pricing I would highly recommend for those with sensitive skin. I don't have sensitive skin so I would prefer to use a product that has a lovely scent to it because that forms part of my sensory experience.

This moisturiser was gentle and effective at mousturising my skin. It wasn't thick and was easy to apply onto my skin following a shower. It wasn't overly scented, more of a clean oat kind of smell and soaked into the skin quickly. It left my skin fresh. I have very sensitive skin and it didn't make me react so a huge bonus. The product came in the standard Aveeno packing which is consistent with their branding. It was in a reasonable size tube so would last a fairly good amount of time before needing to re purchase. My skin improved in dryness over a period of time which I feel was contributed to by the use of this product. Being winter my skin is usually quite dry but given my skin senstivity I am restricted by certain products to use. I really enjoyed trialling this product and recommended my son and husband use it for their skin also, being a family fav!

If you want baby soft skin for an affordable price, I would be recommending this lotion! Having paired this with the Aveeno body scrub, I can honestly say my skin is so much softer. I’m not generally a body lotion person and I find they are too greasy for me, but this dries down quickly and like you’ve not put lotion on. Even though it says it’s non scented, I find it has a little oat/apricot smell, which is only subtle and I didn’t find it offensive. I will be repurchasing when this bottle runs out.

Great product! I found this moisturiser so easy to apply. It was a nicely textured product, not too thick or thin. It would absorb into the skin so quickly and left my skin feeling great all day. When I applied in the mornings and then showered at night, I could still feel the moisturiser. I like that it had a pump so that I can control how much I am using or put it directly onto the skin. I would definitely repurchase this product as I did notice a real difference in the moisture levels of my body.

This Aveeno Skin Renewal Lotion is great for both day and for night! A little goes a long way but it's not hard to lather up! I use this lotion after my shower straight after I finished with shaving my legs. There is no smell! So if you are quite sensitive to smells, this one could be for you! This Aveeno Skin Renewal Lotion does not leave a residue or film across your hands either, it soaks right into your skin! Aveeno is nice and affordable as well! It won't break the bank and is also a good amount in the bottle

This moisturiser truly helps to soften and moisturise my skin. When used in conjunction with the scrub my KP has become a non-issue as my skin has lessened with redness and the bumps of KP. My skin is smoother and softer now! I also have sensitive skin so I was so glad to find something that lessens the redness I often get from shaving and from wearing all these layers in this cold weather. My skin is no longer dried out and flaky. It's now smooth and soft. Love this! Definitely recommend using it on it's own but it's perfect to use with the matching exfoliating scrub too - especially if you need to exfoliate every day!

Aveeno rarely misses and they've hit it out of the park again with this body moisturiser. I used it daily after a shower, and my skin has been smooth, soft and moisturised all winter. It doesn't leave a tacky feeling on the skin as some products do, absorbing nicely and just leaving the skin lovely and plump. Using this in conjunction with the Aveeno body scrub has given me gorgeous glowing skin when it would normally be dry, bumpy and ashy into the colder months. The only drawback I found was that the product is on the thicker side than what I'm used to, so it hasn't been as easy to apply as thinner products.

This range really hits the mark. After enjoying the gentle exfoliating scrub from the range, following up with this lotion was fantastic. It rubbed in well, didn't leave an oily texture or residue, but my skin still felt really well moisturised. Having sensitive skin sometimes I'm known to react to ingredients in moisturising creams, but this lotion had no adverse reactions on my skin. The low/no scent was great - nothing worse than feeling hit with fake smells unncessarily. I'd definitely recommend, especially at such a great price point.

I have sensitive skin, prone to acne and also experience Psoriasis. Because of this it is super important to keep my skin happy and moisturized. This product was great at keeping my skin soft and supple. It absorbed quickly and was easy to use every day and even twice a day if I was feeling extra dry. It didn’t have too much of a scent which was nice, as that can sometimes cause my skin to react. The product felt nice to use and a noticed a difference in my flare ups on my skin. I will definitely consider re purchasing in the future.
