A LOVELY COOLING HYDRATING MIST SPRAY
This spray helped calm my skin when redness and flushing appear either from blood pressure or temperature changes.
It is a very light, lightly scented mist so it disperses quickly and is calming.
I don't particularly have sensitive skin anymore so I would use it more in the summer if my face is flushed from the heat or I just feels like some extra hydration and love the feel of the spritz mist!
It is a handy size to take anywhere which is a bonus :-)
I would recommend it highly to anyone with sensitive skin or prone to sensitivities from allergies etc.
Great product
I’ve been using this SOS spray whenever my skin feels hot, sensitive, or a little red, and it’s been a total game-changer. It delivers a refreshing boost of hydration and really helps to calm my skin when it's acting up.
One of the things I love most is that I can spritz it over my makeup without disturbing it, perfect for mid-day touch-ups or calming my skin on the go. I have quite sensitive skin, and this spray noticeably reduces the intensity of the redness I often experience. It worked even better than I expected!
The price point is great, especially coming from such a reliable brand, and the packaging is compact and easy to carry, which means I can keep it with me for those moments when I need instant relief.
Highly recommend for anyone with reactive or sensitive skin!
Calming
I was pleased to try Bioderma Sensibio AR+ SOS Spray as part of a BeautyCrew trial, as a person that suffers from redness, this was the perfect choice.
A scentless product, that simply sprays on, I was happy with the results. My redness has calmed and I am not being annoyed with fragrance, some of which make me feel unwell. I used it in conjunction with Bioderma Sensibio AR Cream.
An easy to use product, perfect for sensitive skin that is reasonably priced and readily available. I will continue to use this product, as it works for me.
Felt nice on my skin
Bioderma Sensibio AR + SOS Spray comes in a nice sized bottle and with a spray nozzle. is not a product i got a lot out of personally. It felt quite nice and quite cooling to my skin but it did not really seem to do a lot more than feel nice to me. I am sure it will help some people but it is not something i would use or recommend. I was using this in combination with a cream and micella water (which i did think was pretty good).
The spray bottle was not that useful to me in that i was not able to accurately spray the areas of my face i was trying to focus on, so mostly sprayed it on my had then added it to my skin.
Refreshing
I’ve been using BIODERMA Sensibio AR+ SOS Spray for the past few weeks, and honestly, I’m impressed.
I'm someone who deals with sudden flushing and redness, especially during stressful days or after a workout, I’m always on the lookout for products that can calm things down without irritating my already sensitive skin. The cooling sensation is so refreshing. The first time I used it, I had just come in from the sun, and within seconds of spraying, my skin felt noticeably calmer. There’s no stinging, no tightness, just a gentle mist that feels like relief in a bottle.
After a few weeks of using it, I can say my skin definitely seems a bit more stable and less reactive. Will continue to use!
It’s nice and calming
The Bioderma Sensibio AR+ SOS Spray was a nice addition to my skincare routine temporarily. It helped reduce some of the redness on my face, which I appreciated, but the results weren't strong or consistent enough for me to keep using it long-term. I liked that it had no scent, great for my sensitive skin. The formula is lightweight and non-greasy, which makes it easy to layer under makeup or apply on bare skin throughout the day. I also liked that it didn’t pill, even when used with other skincare products. It’s versatile and gentle, just not a standout for me personally.
Cooling but fell short
I rated the BIODERMA Sensibio AR+ SOS Spray 3 stars.
It feels refreshing on the skin and delivers a nice cooling effect that’s pleasant during the day, especially when my skin needs a light boost of hydration. I did notice it helped give me a quick feeling of comfort, and the mist itself is fine and easy to apply. That said, it didn’t improve my redness or soothe the sensitive patches I’m currently struggling with, which was my main reason for trying it.
As a hydrating spray it’s lovely, but for calming and reducing irritation it fell short of expectations.
Pair with a good quality mosituriser for magic
I am deeply invested in products that help red, sensitive skin after being diagnosed with Rosacea 4 years ago by my dermatologist. My skin is mature and oily yet dehydrated. I have large pores that tend to get congested and experience redness daily. I wear sunscreen daily and makeup 5 days a week for work.
I stopped my regular morning and night routine and used the Bioderma Sensibio H20 Micellar Water, Sensibio AR+ SOS Spray and Sensibio AR+ Cream for a fortnight.
Although I've used many facial mists in the past, the Bioderma Sensibio AR+ SOS Spray is more complex since it is formulated with patented technology which is meant to soothe, reduce redness, boost tolerance and hydrate the skin.
Using this as a facial mist during the occasional bout of redness, I did experience a cooling and calming sensation which is similar to what you'd experience after washing your face. It can be sprayed over makeup, but I preferred to use it like a toner after cleansing and before moisturising. After 2-3 pumps across my face, I'd leave it to slightly (but not completely) dry before using the moisturiser. I believe this helps with absorption.
Unfortunately the routine didn't work out for me since I broke out around my nose and chin and my skin became congested. I went back to double cleansing and using actives but continued using the Bioderma Sensibio AR+ SOS Spray before moisturiser which is working well.
SENSITIVE SPRAY BAE
The BIODERMA Sensibio AR+ SOS spray has been a game-changer for my sensitive skin. It’s lightweight, unscented, and layers beautifully over other products—especially when paired with the BIODERMA AR cream. Together, they help calm and hydrate my skin, reducing redness and irritation without any stinging or discomfort.
I use the spray every morning over makeup for a fresh, dewy finish, and often reach for it again in the afternoon when my skin feels flushed or tight. It’s incredibly soothing and gives my face an instant refresh. I also love how portable it is—perfect for travel or tossing in my bag for on-the-go touch-ups.
If you have reactive skin or just want a gentle, effective way to cool and hydrate throughout the day, this spray is a must-have.
The perfect spray to soothe redness
As someone that experiences redness in my skin, I was very excited to try the new BIODERMA Sensibio AR+ SOS Spray. The spray, which promises to provide quick relief from discomfort that comes with redness such has flushing, heat etc, does just that! It helps my skin feel immediately cool and soothed. I’m able to use it under and over makeup which I love, as when I experience redness and flushing throughout the day I can easily reapply and help treat my skin. I love BIODERMA as a brand and trust their formulations and ingredients to help my skin, and this spray is another winner in their line up.
It’s nice but tbx
Tried this rescue spray along with its matching cream as part of a review and preferred this alone over the cream + spray.
It’s not scented and didn’t cause any irritation or reaction to my skin. It felt refreshing and cool and worked well under my other products and makeup and think it helped calm down my redness but it wasn’t a product that made any lasting effect on redness that I could see.
Only tried it for a month so maybe need to give it a chance and I’ll keep using especially as the weather warms up.
Would I recommend it? Probably not. Theres no harm in trying it but it wouldn’t be the first item I’d think of. Yet to see anything groundbreaking or super noteworthy.
Truly Soothing
So far, everything I've tried from the BIODERMA range has been wonderful, and the same rings true for the BIODERMA Sensibio AR+ SOS Spray. While it's not something I see myself using daily, it has been really impressive when going through hormonal changes or sensitive skin (in this weather, it can sometimes cause my skin to lash out).
It adds a soothing effect and works to reduce overall redness. Only a small spray is needed for big results. For me, it was a really reasonable size as not something I'd use daily, but will be something I will purchase again when I run out, especially during winter!
Cooling spray - would recommend
My skin is prone to redness and leans towards being a sensitive skin. I found this had the ability to quickly soothe and reduce redness and heat on my sensitive and reaction-prone skin, and I was able to use it over my makeup without it being smeared. The spray provided an immediate cooling sensation and is a convenient, on-the-go solution for sudden flushing and discomfort. It dries quickly without leaving a greasy film. It covers large areas quickly and evenly, and I found it suitable for application on bare skin. Would recommend.
Bioderma Sensibio AR+ Spray
I spray it on my face and leave it to dry as I have sensitive skin I feel comfortable on my skin and I did not have any problem and it was hydrating and this spray exceeded my expectations. It left my skin feeling refreshed and gentle on skin and it moisturised while being really quick to use ,Its texture is light and fresh, without a greasy finish. It soothes the redness of my reactive skin and leaves my skin feeling soothed .I recommend it because it's a big favorite, it's now part of my routine.
Cooling mist for irritated skin
The BIODERMA Sensibio AR+ SOS Spray has seriously become one of my little skin saviours. It’s super cooling and calming when you spray it on especially when my skin is feeling hot and irritated. I use it straight onto bare skin when I’m not wearing any makeup, but also over makeup during the day, which does not disrupt my foundation.
It is fragrance free, which is great because I get quite sensitive when it comes to spraying products on my face. Also, the size of the bottle is just right that fits in my handbag easily, so I can carry it around and use it when I need a quick refresh, especially if I’m out and my skin’s acting up.
I would recommend this product with sensitive skin and prone to redness.
Nice to have but not necessary per se
Over the past few weeks I’ve been using the BIODERMA Sensibio AR+ SOS Spray, and while I’ve enjoyed incorporating it into my routine, I’m still working out exactly how much of a difference it makes compared to other products in the Sensibio range. It’s definitely a pleasant addition, but I’m not yet convinced it’s an essential step for everyone.
The first thing I noticed was the texture and application. The mist is extremely fine and refreshing, making it very easy to use. A quick spritz delivers a cool, soothing effect that feels calming straight away, particularly when my skin has been flushed or irritated. It absorbs quickly without leaving any sticky or heavy residue, so it layers well with other skincare or even under makeup. In terms of user experience alone, it feels luxurious, lightweight, and genuinely enjoyable to apply.
BIODERMA markets this spray as a targeted solution for redness and reactive skin, and it certainly feels like it helps in the moment. When my skin is irritated after cleansing, exposed to the sun, or flaring up from environmental triggers, the spray gives an instant sense of relief. However, when I reflect on longer-term results, the improvements are harder to pin down. I can’t honestly say I’ve noticed a dramatic reduction in redness compared to when I’m just using the Sensibio AR cream or the classic Sensibio H2O micellar water. My skin feels good, but I can’t attribute the change solely to the spray, since the rest of the Sensibio range is already designed for sensitivity and redness.
That’s where my ambivalence lies: I enjoy using the product and I like the ritual of misting my skin throughout the day, but I’m not certain it’s doing more for me than the core products already do. In some ways, it feels like more of a “nice-to-have” than a must-have. If your skin flares quickly or if you like having something on hand for an instant soothing effect, then it’s a great little companion. But if you’re looking at your budget or wondering which Sensibio product to prioritise, I’d still recommend the AR cream or even just sticking with a solid cleanser and moisturiser first.
That said, I can’t overlook the comfort factor. Skincare isn’t always about measurable outcomes—sometimes it’s about how a product makes you feel, and this spray makes my routine feel more indulgent and cared for. It adds a spa-like step that I look forward to, which in itself can be valuable. On hot days, or after exercise, it feels especially refreshing, and I can imagine it being a lifesaver in summer when my skin tends to flush more easily.
A good spritz
This is a great facial spray, and it works really nicely on my skin! BIODERMA Sensibio AR+ SOS Spray has earned a solid spot in my skincare lineup. I’d give it 4 stars for its instant cooling effect and how well it calms my redness-prone skin. The ultra-fine mist feels refreshing without disturbing makeup, and I love that it’s fragrance-free and non-sticky. It doesn’t erase redness overnight, but it noticeably reduces flare-ups and discomfort, especially during hormonal shifts or hot weather. The bottle is perfect for on-the-go use, and I find myself reaching for it after workouts or stressful moments. While it’s a bit pricey, the results justify keeping it in my bag. It’s not a miracle cure, but it’s a reliable reset button for sensitive skin.
My new buddy
BIODERMA Sensibio AR+ SOS Spray is my new and best buddy when it comes to skincare. Of late, my skin has started acting up where I have started getting red rashes, redness very frequently and my facial skin sometimes feels hot to touch. The Bioderma Sensibio AR+ SOS spray helps calm it down. It has a cooling effect so it cools my skin down whenever it feels hot and it also calms down my redness. The best part is that it’s a spray, so it’s easy to apply, does not feel greasy and works on bare skin as well as over makeup.
I love that I can carry it with me and reapply as needed over makeup and it does not separate my foundation or other makeup and still works well. It has no fragrance so it does not irritate my skin.
Love this soothing anti-redness spray
I really liked this anti redness spray. It's non greasy and I didn't notice a strong fragrance. I didn't notice any sensitivity to this.
I like the size of the bottle because I can easily keep it in my handbag. So it's been nice as a little bit of security to take around with me in case of redness throughout the day.
I have pale skin and flush easily, so it has been nice to have something I can take on the go and provide some security.
I used this product alongside the Sensibo AR+ cream and noticed visible reduction in redness.
I'd definitely recommend both products if you have reactive sensitive skin. I'll keep using and likely will purchase again.
A must have spray
Skin being so sensitive, this spray helped reduced the redness on my face. The redness on my face felt cooler and less red throughout the day. Especially being out in the sun it did benefit my skin a lot. Made my skin look and feel more moisturised and cool. I have sometimes a combo of oil and dry skin but this product helped moisturised. My daughter tried this as a setting spray and she swears it worked and did the job better than she expected.
I recommended this product to my daughter as she has sensitive skin and it’s a product that she would have added to her collection.
