SVR [B3] Hydra Essence

I recently used the SVR [B3] Hydra Essence and it exceeded my expectations. It says this essence is infused with Niacinamide and Hyaluronic Acid, which I felt provided deep hydration and improved my skin's texture quite a bit. I liked the lightweight formula as it absorbed quickly without leaving any sticky residue, making it easy for layering under other skincare products. I think my skin felt more plump, smooth, and radiant after a couple of weeks use. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to boost their skincare routine.

I received this item as part of the beautycrew to review. For reference, I have fair/sensitive, dry and acne prone skin. I started using this item after my double cleanse and before moisturiser. I’m happy that this item doesn’t have a strong smell as I’m sensitive to scents. The texture is gel, which is different than other essences I’ve tried. The claims are it’s to restore the skin's barrier function, and soothe sensitive, tight and dehydrated skin. I’ve found it did help with my dehydrated skin but I didn’t find it particularly soothed it restored my skins barrier. Overall, a nice product but docking one star as it hasn’t made out all the claims.

I am a fan of essence in skincare for me it provides an extra level of comfort in hydrating my skin. After cleansing my skin morning and night especially in the cooler months I apply 3-4 drops of the essence (which is similar consistency to a lotion/lighest gel) to my fingertips and gently pat it into my skin then continue with applying my serum, eye cream and moisturiser/spf. Clear in colour and no noticeable scent I really notice the difference in my skin when I have incorporated this essence compared to when I don’t. I would use this at night in summer and morning and night during the cooler months to provide my skin with added hydration. I would definitely repurchase this essence again and recommend it to family and friends.

I absolutely love the SVR B3 Hydra Essence! This product is really soothing and is so easy to apply. It has a gel like consistency and is so easy to spread. This product doesn’t have a scent which tends to be a good thing as I don’t like anything too overpowering. Having this product contain vitamin B3 and hyaluronic acid is the best 2-in-1, the hydration is out of this world. I find for the size of the product, the price is definitely worth it. I don’t use too much at a time so I feel this bottle will last me quite a while. If you’re needing some hydration in your life then I highly recommend this one!

I’m a huge lover of using an essence to kick off my skincare routine, but I’ve never tried a gel-in-lotion essence formulation before so I was keen to try the SVR [B3] Hydra Essence. The packaging feels really luxurious and the formulation is quite unique, with 2% niacinamide. I found that it absorbed quickly and easily after applying with a cotton pad, even though it was a little thicker than other essences I’ve tried. My skin definitely feels soothed after being sensitive and tight during the day, and I would definitely recommend this to anyone needing some extra nourishment.

Receiving the SVR [B3] Hydra Essence to trial couldn’t have come at a better time because I had recently finished my last bottle of essence and I needed another essence heading into winter. The SVR [B3] Hydra Essence is packaged in a pretty, bright blue 100% recyclable plastic bottle with a screw on cap. The bottle holds 150ml of product. The gel-in-lotion essence is a watery liquid which glides so easily over my skin. Only a small amount is needed to cover my face and neck. I can feel its soothing effects as it settles into my skin, leaving my skin feeling deeply hydrated. I apply the essence every morning and evening after cleansing my skin and before applying my other skincare products. My skin certainly looks nice and plump and smooth, so much so that my fine lines are hardly visible, and there’s not a patch of dryness in sight. This is probably the best essence I have used.

I'm a long time user of various hydrating toners and essences from South Korea and it has been an indispensable step in my skincare routine. I was pleasantly surprised to trial this essence from SVR which has similar qualities. The essence comes in a tall 150ml bottle with a pretty turquoise colour. The formula is simple: water-based, and has hydrating glycerin and sodium hyalyuonate as well as 2% niacinamide - a wonderful ingredient with multiple benefits including strengthening the skin barrier, brightening, anti-aging. Even though 2% is quite low, it works well when paired with other steps in the routine that may already have niacinamide. It has just the right viscosity - thicker than water but nowhere near a gel. It's not too watery that it just spills everywhere but just the right thickness to spread nicely and absorb quickly. It's non-irritating, pleasantly hydrating, fragrance-free and suitable for sensitive skin. This is an excellent essence to prepare your skin for the next steps, and my spouse confirms that it is safe to apply after a shave - no stinging. It can be safely used on all skin types. This SVR essence is a very welcome addition to the western skincare market.

An essence is the first step in a skincare routine, after cleansing, as it helps to prep your skin before using other skincare products. The essence contains 2% niacinamide and hyaluronic acid to hydrate, soothe and strengthen the skin. I love the colour of the bottle as it gives a very luxurious and calming appearance which I really like. I pour some of the essence onto a cotton ball or you can pour some into your hands and then apply it all over your face and neck. I noticed that it's a bit thicker than a liquid, almost like a gel but it goes on really nicely and absorbs very quickly into the skin. It's a good product to use now that the colder months are upon us and my skin gets dry and needs constant hydration. My skin feels hydrated when using the essence and it's so gentle on the skin.

Love this essence, it’s really soothing on my skin. I trialled this B3 hydra essence for the beauty crew review team and really enjoyed it. It has a gel like quality in the essence and is easy to apply, I just applied it to clean skin with my fingers, it spreads well and sinks straight in. There is no scent and it feels nice and light to wear on skin, it’s not tacky or sticky but comfortable to wear. Containing vitamin B3 and hyaluronic acid it plumps my skin and delivers fabulous hydration. My skin looks plumper and brighter after using this essence, not so tired so it’s a great anti ageing product and quite reasonable as the generous sized bottle lasts for ages. Love this product! It helps with my dry skin and breakouts and is the perfect first step before I add eye cream and moisturiser. My favourite part about this product is the minimal fragrance which for me is a must with any facial creams. This product does not cause any irritation which I do get from using other well known brands, it plumps the skin and keeps it smooth. I love using this both day and night, have had no irritation since starting, and will definitely be repurchasing when I finish using this bottle. It lasts forever, making the price reasonable. You'll never have dehydrated skin again with this product!
