CeraVe Oil Control Moisturiser

I tried the CeraVe Oil Control Moisturiser and I was very happy with the results! I have combination skin, and I’ve struggled in the past to find products that don’t make my skin either too shiny or too dry/flaky. However this product from CeraVe seems to have solved my problem! After continued use I noticed less shine on my skin, while still keeping my skin nicely hydrated. It doesn’t smell, and it feels nice and lightweight. It doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin either, which is a plus. I was very pleased with this product, it’s a fair price, and I definitely recommend!

I have recently started using the CeraVe Oil Control Moisturiser on my combination skin and it’s been great! The moisturisers formula is lightweight and is able to hydrate my face without it feeling oily and heavy after application but leaving my face with a bit of a matte finish. The moisturiser is able to absorb into my skin quickly while still being moisturising to dry areas. In addition, I have also noticed that throughout the day, areas such as my forehead and nose are not as shiny and oily. The pump is really handy and convenient.

To all my oily to combination skin girlies who are tired of spending the day glistening like a well-oiled roast, this moisturiser is the product for you! I have always been on the look out for a moisturiser that'll rehydrate my face without the after-application sheen that most moisturisers have. So when I was tasked to trial the CeraVe Oil Control Moisturiser I had high hopes. CeraVe has pushed themselves to the top of the rehydration game and this product is no different. All you need is a small pump, and its light, gel-like consistency cream will leave you nice and hydrated! Perfect for the balmy BrisVegas weather! Highly recommend!

The CeraVe Oil Control Moisturiser is an absolute game changer for my combination skin! Its light weight formula is more than enough to provide complete hydration without being a super heavy cream. My skin tends to get very oily by the end of the day in the usual t-zone area BUT since using the CeraVe Oil Control Moisturiser over the last few weeks I have watched my oily t-zone become less and less. My skin is no longer oily and shiny at the end of the day which for me is amazing. I’m also finding my makeup is lasting longer and looks a lot nicer when I use this cream first. I love that it comes in a little pump bottle, making it very easy to apply to my skin.

This was a great moisturiser that is a handy tube to have in your skincare repertoire. I enjoyed using it, especially at night after using cleanser and toner that made my skin dry and provided the exact level of moisturisation i needed. I also really loved that it left a matte finish which I prefer. I've always appreciated a pump feature so that it's super easy to dispense the exact amount you need to use and not waste any product. I found that it glided on my skin well and it didn't feel sticky or too heavy/thick. It absorbed well and didnt make me feel all oily. It also worked well with my combination skin managing my oily forehead with the skin around my nose that tended to be dry. I took off a star because it suggests using it both morning and night. I did for the first few days but then I need to wear SPF during the day and found two layers of moisturiser was too much for my skin and felt heavy. So I later switched to using it at night after a serum and it worked very well for my needs and didn't cause me to wake up with breakouts.

I have always loved cerave products for my sensitive, combination skin and this moisturiser did not disappoint! It has a lovely texture, non greasy but still hydrating throughout the day. I find at night time it’s not quite as hydrating as I like, but after applying a facial oil on top I found that this was not an issue at all. My partner has oily skin and I got him to trial this product too, he absolutely loved it and did not require any other product at nighttime like I did. He found it hydrating whilst also controlling his oil throughout the day. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who likes a simple, non-fuss, fragrance free moisturiser. It’s also a great price point especially on sale, however I would happily still pay full price for this product.

I am a big CeraVe fan so was incredibly excited to trial this as part of review crew. I struggle with oily skin around my t-zone. I trialed this moisturiser twice daily, and noticed less greasiness around my nose and forehead during the day. I love the cap as it makes it travel friendly, the pump helps ensure the perfect dose. It has a unique gel-cream texture which is lightweight and absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy or shiny look. It wouldn’t be a CeraVe product if it wasn’t packed full of ceramides, and I love that my skin feels calm and hydrated. I’d recommend to those who have combination skin types or struggle with oily skin.

This product is amazing it does everything that it says it will. I have really sensitive skin and I did not have any issues or irritations to this product. I also have really oily skin and I have found it difficult in the past to find a product for my sensitive skin but this product does wonders. I also love that it is so affordable and you get great value out of the product. This product was super easy to apply and incorporate into my skincare routine. I would definitely recommend this product to my family and friends as it is affordable and it does a great job at controlling my oily skin.

I have been obsessed with Cera Ve products for years now and since having my kids my skin has taken a hit. The Cera Ve Oil Control moisturiser has been a game changer! Both as a stand alone and as part of my make up routine this moisturiser keeps my oily skin under control all day. I have used multiple products to reduce the amount of oily coming out of my skin by the afternoon and sadly none have been able to hold the oil at bay. With the thinner consistency my skin is not left tacky and irritated. The product is lightweight and able to be a simple step in my busy mum life This moisturiser not only stops the oil break through but also gives me the added hydration my skin desperately needs! I would highly recommend this to anyone and everyone to have in their daily routine. I will buy this product over and over as it helps with all my skin concerns without breaking out my sensitive skin!

This the second product I've used from CeraVe, and I'm a complete convert twice over - another total winner. I have sensitive, dehydrated, temperamental skin, and my face drank this product up. It was easy to apply, and thanks to the pump packaging, extremely simple to dispense the right amount. The texture was really light, but easy to build up on the days where my skin needed more of a boost, and it worked really well in conjunction with everything else in my routine from both CeraVe and other brands. My skin felt really balanced, which is important to me as i do suffer from hormonal acne - this didn't trigger any breakouts. I would absolutely purchase again, and I have already recommended this product to several of my family and friends, particularly those with skin that needs rebalancing.

As someone with sensitive, oily combination skin thats prone to breakouts, finding a moisturiser that hydrates without clogging mu pores is crucial. The gel cream applies beautifully and absorbs quickly, leaving my skin feeling moisturised and not greasy. It has a lightweight consistency that helps control my oil production throughout the day, which is a game changer for me—I can wash my face and still feel fresh without that annoying shine returning too soon. Plus, it sits well under makeup without breaking it up, keeping my oils in check. Since I started using this moisturiser, I've noticed my pores appear smaller, and I've experienced fewer breakouts, even during that time of the month when I typically struggle the most. CeraVe has always been a favourite brand, and this product has solidified that. I have zero complaints—it's perfect for oily, acne-prone skin that still needs hydration.

This is a fantastic moisturiser. It's lightweight, hydrating and left my skin incredibly smooth. I used this in place of my regular moisturiser for one month. I can say it stood in very well. This moisturiser is very easy to apply with a pump nozzle, and the design is very clever in an inverted stance, encouraging excess product to collect at the dispenser point, instead of at the base which can be frustrating. Definitely eliminates the need to balance your product upside down to get the rest out. The formula is very light and easy to spread across the face and neck, or add in hydrating mist for extra slip. I layered this easily over my serums without excess shine. My skin felt balanced and smooth, without dryness or shine. This product was an ease to use in both my morning and evening routine. Pros: Price is competitive, and an absolute steal for what you are getting. Its easy to use with an effective pump and the formula is light and non greasy. Cons: No sunscreen, and I prefer the feeling of a thicker formula, but this felt very light on my skin. Also packing cannot be recycled but here's hoping for future products. I would definitely recommend this to my teenage step daughters (14 and 18), and also friends/family up to 35-40 years of age, dependant on skin type. This would be a perfect product for my 36 y/o brother who struggles with excess oil and shine.

I have been using this CeraVe Oil Control Moisturiser for a while now and have been really impressed! The CeraVe Oil Control Moisturiser applies really nicely, with an easy applicator and smooth consistency. You don't need to use much each application, a little goes a long way. The CeraVe Oil Control Moisturiser feels very lightweight and keeps my skin hydrated without being oily at all. I haven't had as many breakouts using this and would recommend CeraVe Oil Control Moisturiser to others as an easy every day moisturiser.

There’s a number of positives for this. The price is affordable and won’t break the bank (even if it’s not discounted, the full RRP is great value for money given that a little goes a long way). It absorbs into the skin so beautifully but I can’t say it’s 100% fragrance free. It does have a bit of an antiseptic smell to it, nothing that lingers for too long so it’s very tolerable. I can’t comment too much on oil control because I didn’t notice a difference BUT my oiliness definitely did not worsen so that’s a bonus!

I have sensitive combination skin (oily T-zone). The texture of the moisturiser is smooth and it feels lightweight on the skin. It’s easy to apply and does not have a greasy or heavy feeling. It’s absorbed quite easily into the skin and provides a matte finish and fragrance free, which is a bonus for people with sensitive skin. I found it to be a good lightweight moisturiser and did not cause any breakouts or issues for my combination skin. I found the packaging to be incredibly convenient also, the pump makes it easy to get the required amount without contamination and will also allow for the product to be used to completion. One drawback I feel this product has is that I don’t find it as highly moisturising as others. It’s meant to be oil-controlling. Especially in winter, my skin doesn't reproduce oil on my forehead. Hence the 4 stars. However, this might also be a personal preference as opposed to a drawback of the product. Overall I found it to be a good moisturiser and find myself reaching for it often in summer temperatures. I would recommend it to anyone looking to reduce excess oil production with a reasonable product price.

I had mixed feelings about the CeraVe Oil Control Moisturiser. While it's a decent lightweight moisturizer, I found it didn’t really reduce shine throughout the day as I had hoped. The small pump applicator is convenient, and it absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy residue, making it suitable for layering under makeup. However, I still noticed my skin getting oily by midday. It does provide light hydration, which is nice, but if you’re looking for something that effectively controls shine, you might want to look elsewhere. Overall, it’s a solid choice if you need a basic moisturizer, but it may not meet your expectations for oil control.

I love CeraVe products, I use their moisturiser daily and find that it is one of the best moisturisers I’ve used and is great value for money, especially the price point being very affordable. If you have oily skin, I would recommend trying this product as it does somewhat prevent oil from coming through your makeup. The packaging of the product itself is nice and sleek and easy to use. I really like that it has a pump as you’re able to control the amount of product better. The only thing I wish it had was SPF as the other CeraVe moisturiser I have has SPF which is a huge game changer for your skin.

I have been using this product for a few weekend and am pleased with the results I have seen. The moisturiser spreads well on the skin and is easy to distribute from the vessel as the pump lid ensures that an adequate amount is dispersed each time. There is no overbearing scent and I found that my face especially my t-zone was less oily throughout the day I would recommend this product for anyone who is after a good quality product at an affordable price and based on my experience I would repurchase this product again.

This is a good everday moisturiser, particular gor use in the morning/day. I have sensitive skin so it's a nice, non-irritating moisturiser that does not cause breakouts. I do not think that it helps control my oily skin as I have not noticed a reduction in oil production. This product is a bit thin so I need to apply 2-3x coats at night as otherwise my skin feels dry. It is great for use in the morning under my sunscreen but I prefer to use a thicker product at night. I will use this product in the morning until it is finished but I don't think I will purchase it again. I prefer a moisturiser I can use in the morning and at night so I would choose a different product. It is not fragranced so it is a good product for people with sensitive skin.

This product feels great on the skin - applies evenly and smoothly and absorbs quickly. I found it was great as a morning moisturiser before doing makeup which I am normally picky about. It didn't interfere with any of my base makeup routine and paired nicely with my daily sunscreen - I find some face products can cause separation when layered with SPF but no issues here. I noticed less of a sweaty/oily feeling on my skin during the day while wearing this product. Left my skin feeling clean and prepped. No overwhelming scent or texture when applied
