Designer Brands Eye Shadow Primer

This is a simple, no-nonsense primer from a very affordable brand that I have used for some time. It gives my eye shadow definition and makes it last longer, so it certainly does its job. It has absolutely no colour, being a clear fluid unlike other eye primers I own, so can't be used as a base tint, which is why I probably don't reach for it as much as others in my collection. However for this reason there is no need to make sure it is "patted in" - I just wait for it to dry and voila - ready for  eye shadow!  Being a convenient wand tube it is perfect for travel, and at less than $9, honestly - what's not to like?

My eye shadow and eyeliner was getting smudged in the crease of my eyes. My daughter did my makeup using a very expensive primer and it worked a treat. I didn't want to spend $60 and I have been very happy with the results of other Designer Brand Products so I headed to the pharmacy and bought their primer on special at the time for $8.99. I was thrilled with the results just as good as the expensive one, now my daughter uses it as well after trying mine. A good result!
