Designer Brands Longwear Matte Lip Colour

I got the colour "forever" which is a rather dark red colour on my lips and it looked great and matches a lot of my winter outfits. The formula is lightweight and the applicator is easy to use, picking up the right amount of product. The colour is very pigmented so one swipe is enough for me and the product settle down to a matte finish without making my lips feeling dry or uncomfortable. Super long lasting wearing, doesn't transfer and can be removed with effortlessly cleansing oil.

I recently purchased this product and I must say, I was happy with it. For the price I paid, this matte lippy does the job. I didn’t have to apply another layer as it lasts me the whole day.  I like that it doesn’t give me lips a flakey or dried look. It’s easy to apply. However I do put abit of lip balm before putting the lippy on. Some days  if I want to tone down the brightness of the colour, I just add a slightly  darker colour and it works well. 

I was gifted this lip colour and had previously never tried a formulation by Designer Brands. I absolutely love the pigment and if you love a matte lip I highly recommend this lipstick. I did top up with a another coat after  eating lunch but this lasted all day and I didn't find it drying compared to other brands. I have a natural tan and this red is a really good colour match and didn't go pink or orange which I really hate when you buy a red but it isn't a true red when applied. 4 stars because it did need one reapplication.

This is a great matte lip colour at a great price point. Even though it’s matte I didn’t find it drying like some matte lipsticks can be which was a bonus. The colour is really highly pigmented and it stays put for ages, even after eating and drinking. With 11 great shades there’s loads of variety and it’s super easy to apply, so lots of plusesthere. My recommendation is use a lip primer or balm underneath for an even smoother finish. This product has aloe Vera and vitamins for added hydration which I love. This is a great matte lipcolour for those who love a budget friendly product that delivers, I love it and would recommend it.

This matte lip colour goes on matte and stays matte without flaking or drying my lips. It takes a little time to apply this lip colour evenly onto my lips, however once it's applied, the colour lasts for the entire day even after eating or drinking. The colour eventually fades off leaving my lips with a hint of colour. This lip colour doesn't flake or peel off or irritate my lips. Once worn, my lips have a smooth matte finish with colour intensity. Pros: -easy to apply, nondrying, low priced Cons: -can be a little dry if several layers are applied so use a lip balm underneath Tips: -I like to exfoliate my lips well and then apply a matte lipstick so that my lips remain soft and smooth Recommendation: -this matte lip gloss would suit anyone who wants matte finish with a good staying power
