have been using this product together with the Eau Thermale Avène Vitamin Activ CG Cream for the past few weeks and I have really noticed the difference. The serum is super lightweight and spreads so easily and effectively. With a lovely fresh scent similar to the cream itself. I love the idea of a serum for that extra bit of potency. My skin is visibly brighter and more "alive" and really like the way it makes my skin feel nourished and hydrated. The combo of the cream x serum is a dynamite duo which has worked wonders and I have already had people say how good my skin looks. I can definitely notice that the fine lines around my eyes seem to have reduced somewhat and my skin is feeling great. I do tend to have quite sensitive skin and I have to be careful about the products I use, but I have had no issues at all with this one despite the active ingredients. I have really been impressed by the cream x serum combo and look forward to continuing to use both of these quality and luxurious products. .

I've been using this serum consistently at night, I like to mix it in with moisturiser for a more even coverage. My skin feels much, smoother, plumper, less textured and nourishes after using only a few times! I suffer from dry skin and find that i must use alot of heavy thick products. However, this serum is so light and provides plenty of hydration! I also really enjoyed the scent, not too powerful. Compared to other serums I've tried this one is the best, I would definitely recommend this product.

This Vitamin C Serum is a must-have!!! I have some sun damage on my neck soo I have been looking for a new vitamin c to incorporate into my routine and this one is perfect. My skin feels brighter and clearer, with a more even skin tone. My skin also feels so much softer which is a bonus! It's a little bit tacky but I find that it works quite well underneath makeup. This product was an awesome way to introduce Vitamin C to my routine. When using most products I tend to feel like my skin feels heavy and greasy when using too many products with too many active ingredients however this serum has fit right into my current routine. I’ve noticed a big difference in texture, brightness and the reduction of fine lines after introducing this to my skincare regimen. I’d definitely recommend this to someone who is looking for a new serum that targets skin’s brightness and texture.

I like the formula, gives me cosmeceutical and professional grade skincare vibe. Vitamin c has never worked well on my skin, and I have dull acne prone skin so I definitely need it. The serum was quite sticky, but I did like it in conjunction with the cream. It gives off a radiant bright look to the skin, a glowy under the sun look, and I can only imagine that the ingredients are good and nourishing for the skin as well. Unfortunately I didn’t see much reduction in my acne scars and fine lines but that may be because I don’t have a before and after photo to refer to. Overall, I’ll keep using the product, because I haven’t had an adverse reaction from it so far.

The serums consistency is thick and milky, and smells nice which is great however it didn’t fully absorb into my skin, not sure if it’s the formula or really suited for oily skin which I have. This does have some sort of lightening effect to some extent, I tested it on one spot and it improved slightly so I’ll probably continue to try the product. Even though it was fragranced slightly it didn’t affect my sensitive skin too much. I’d recommend this serum but just be patient and give it time cause it is stronger than other Avene spot serums.

I have sensitive combination oily skin. I usually quite like a vitamin c serum, but unless this is one of those products that you need to use for a long time to see results... I just didn't get on with it. On application, the serum has a slight scent that disappeared quite soon after. The product smoothed on nicely but took longer than my other serums to absorb. I used this serum daily for about 2 weeks, and every time, it would tingle when i would put on moisturiser (I tested it with multiple to make sure it wasn't the moisturiser). It wasn't painful, but i dont enjoy the sensation, but perhaps that would ease with continued use. My issues started to appear around the one week mark. The product didn't seem to be doing anything to minimise breakouts. In fact, I think it caused a couple of pimples. I didn't see any changes in pigmentation on my skin. But my skin seemed less smooth. I had to exfoliate more frequently, and it didn't seem to be as effective as normal. My skin returned to its normal texture within a week of stopping use. I'm not sure if it was a reaction to the product, or if it was the actives in the product just increasing skin turnover. I am not going to completely dissmiss this product, I think I will test it out in different ways and maybe slowly reintroduce it to my routine to see if that makes a difference. I wouldn't rave about this serum to my friends and family, but the ingredient composition in this product has me intrigued enough that I would tell my skincare savy friends about it.

The Eau Thermale Avène Vitamin Activ CG Serum to my surprise worked very well for my oily skin. The serum feels very light on the skin and does not leave an oily feeling after applying. After 3 weeks of trying the product, I have seen visible changes to my skin. My skin feels more hydrated, softer and smoother. I have also noticed that my skin has brightened up and is glowing. The packaging of the serum is very simple and small easy to bring around me whilst I was travelling. The serum does not have too strong of a smell like some other products which was a plus for me. Definitely recommend you trying it for yourself.

I have a little bit of hyperpigmentation so I'm always on the hunt for a good Vitamin C product! This was not like any Vit C product I've used before! Firstly, the product has a milky and slightly runny texture, unlike most Vit C products that are usually clear/slightly yellow and lean more on the oily side. The bottle comes with a dropper that I found relatively easy to use - I used 2-3 drops every day as part of my morning routine and followed up with Avene's matching Vitamin Activ CG Radiance Intensive Cream. My big con about this product is the extremely strong scent. It is quite overwhelming and lasted for several minutes post application, so be warned if you're a fan of fragrance-free products. I'm not sure if this has to do with the formulation, but unlike most other Vit C products, I didn't notice any discolouration at all - the product stayed milky white throughout the several weeks I trialled this product. I'm not sure this faded any of my hyperpigmentation, but I certainly found that my skin was a lot brighter!

I enjoyed using the Avène Activ Serum as part of a trial. I used this along with their moisturiser and the two products I felt complimented each other well. I don’t usually use a serum as I usually keep things quite simple with just the basics. Although I enjoyed using this product, you only need a small amount and it applies smoothly onto the skin. I felt it helped with the radiance of my skin and gave me a glow!! I would say it didn’t help with my few blemishes, fine lines or wrinkles. I will continue using this product although adding an extra step into my skin care routine is not something I may continue long term. If you are already using a serum and looking to a try and new one this is the one for you!

I have been using a few drops of the Eau Thermale Avène Vitamin Activ CG Serum on my face, neck and decollete morning and night for the last month and am loving how much smoother my skin is feeling. This is one of the best serums I have used, I love it. It has plumped up my skin and evened out my complexion and I can see my acne scars getting lighter. This one hasn't broken me out at all and it's the first one I have tried that hasn't! I will continue using this product as I am feeling more confident with my appearance due to its restoration of my skin.

I like the texture of this serum, it's lightweight but not runny. The only issue I have is that it feels sticky once applied. I tried using this with the matching moisturiser and immediately wanted to wash my face. If you have oily skin I wouldn't use a moisturiser over this as it might feel like too much. I didn't notice any change in my skin with this so I don't think the vitamin C is very potent, but this may also be because I have used hydroquinone in the past which is much stronger. It didn't irritate my skin which is a bonus. Scent was also not an issue for me.

I received the Eau Thermale Avène Vitamin Activ CG Serum to trial out my skin and here is how it went. Loved the product packaging of this serum. The use glass vessel feel very luxe in to your hands and looks very clean as a product brand. The applicator squeezer is great, I was able to suck up the right amount of serum and squeeze the amount I needed to apply on my face. To me, the product didn't have too much of a smell. So that was plus for me when using any new products as I am sensitive to new smells. In conjunction of using this serum and cream, it has definitely improved my complexion. Overall making my skin feel and look brighter which has been noticed by my sisters and partner. I do have sun spots on my face and have been using this for about 3 weeks now. From my perspective has definitely lightened that pigmentation of sun spots on my face. I was really pleased with this as it definitely lives up to is selling points. Overall my skin is way brighter and me feel more confidence to have a bare face in public and not having to apply makeup! Will definitely be buying this serum once I run of it.

I have been using the Eau Thermale Avène Vitamin ActivCG Serum with the matching Cream for a month as a part of my nightly routine. It has improved my skin tone and improved my oiliness. I wake up with skin that it’s moisturised but not overly oily. It is easy to apply, soaks in nicely without leaving an oily or sticky feeling and doesn’t have an overpowering scent. The dropper does not seem to pick up much product but it is easy to work with. I would recommend this to others who are wanting to see visible improvements in their skin.

I have been using this product for 2 weeks now and have definitely noticed a great difference with my skin, I could not recommend it anymore. I apply it in the evening on clean skin. It's easy to use and feels good on my face. My skin looks so much more radiant and brighter. Some of my fine lines,wrinkles and dark spots have reduced which I was surprised. Thanks for the opportunity to trial this Avène vitamin serum. As I have sensitive skin, prone to dryness and breakouts, I was excited to give this new product a try. I also like how the serum contains Vit. C, niacinamide and hyaluronic acid- all really good skin ingredients. I found by using this daily, my skin felt more plump, looked more healthy and definetely was more moisturized! My skin did not react to this cream either which is a plus! As I used this with the accompanying moisturiser, it’s hard to know if the serum alone would be as effective.

What a pleasant surprise this serum was! Really happy with the results that I have noticed so far and would've expected seeing results within the first month from much higher end products. The serum itself was light and quick absorbing without leaving your skin feeling greasy or sticky afterwards. It has a slight fragrance. I liked that the serum was gentle on the skin and didn't cause any irritations or breakouts with consistent, daily use.
