When I first tried Elizabeth Arden Retinol + HPR Ceramide Capsules Rapid Skin Renewing Serum, while it felt nice on the skin, it didn't seem to make a difference until at least 2 weeks. Having mature, darker skin, perhaps it took a while to take affect, but eventually it did, and I happy with the results. I will probably have to continue using for several months to see real change. However, the $90 is steep, and I don't think I can justify the price over several months for it's efficacy. My major dislike is the pods, it's a real waste of plastic just to make it look fancy. I think a much more sustainable packaging would make it more attractive. I kept wondering much of the serum was still stuck inside the pod. The pods are unnecessary. Still an effective product for those who seek to buy it.

They are also the perfect amount to cover my face and neck. The capsules come in a cute tube and I think these are perfect for travelling, because I wouldn't be so worried about the tube spilling in my luggage. I've been using the capsules every night on cleansed skin, the texture is silky smooth, not greasy and absorbs into the skin quickly. They are fragrance free and gentle on sensitive skin. After applying the serum I've been adding a thick moisturiser to help lock in the serum and hydrate. After using for a few weeks my skin does feel really hydrated and plump every morning. I have sensitive skin and really like that this retinol is not harsh at all and love how hydrating the serum is. I may have not been using this for long enough but there has not been any reduction in fine lines, but I do see the hydration effect on my skin

If you have used a retinoid before you may know that it isn't very spreadable. This product spread incredibly easily and felt so silky. I especially loved that I could target all three areas of my body. I tried the product every day for a few days, then moved to every other day. My skin looks smooth, nose pores considerably diminished and more glowy. No peeling noted. Tad dry if used too much around my nose. I would recommend this to people starting their retinol journey as its foolproof and delivers results!

This Elizabeth Arden Skin Renewing Serum was absolutely luxe, the bottle and the capsules have an old world glamour to them - maybe because it reminds me of the skincare my mother and grandmother used to use - and they both look incredible as they age! The capsules are super easy to twist and the pea size drop of product is more than enough to cover your entire face and some neck. I enjoyed using it so much, my skin looked incredible after using and felt super silky. I noticed my cheeks felt more plump. I had very few imperfections while using and even skin tone, my face felt very hydrated. Really loved this product and seeing actual results - highly recommend.

The capsules were a surprise to see. They are however easy to open and ensure you use the right amount each time. The liquid feels amazing when you place it on your skin. The Elizabeth Arden retinol capsules are a fantastic product. The capsules are handy as there is enough for a single application so no product goes to waste. I used the serum at night after cleansing. The product goes on smooth and is easily absorbed into my skin. It definetely made a difference in the plumpness and firmness of my skin after a few applications. I didn't see a huge change in my fine lines and wrinkles which was slightly disappointing. I think overall it was a great product for putting moisture back into the skin and the application process of single capsule use was very convenient. The price point for the product is slightly on the high side which I do expect from a brand like Elizabeth Arden.

I received this serum as part of the trial crew & was super excited! I've heard great things about these capsules so could not wait to try and they did not disappoint. Having retinol in them I was worried if my skin would react but it didn't and I am noticing the improvement in my skin's texture along with fine lines & pores being less noticeable I love the way my skin feels so soft and firm after use. As my face is quite small the whole capsule is too much so I used a pin to make a small hole & I can use one capsule which lasts me to use in the morning and the night so lasts double as long as not using 2 capsules a day. The serum is on the thicker side but a little does go a long way

Just twist the little top off and squeeze out the product. This meant no product wastage at all, compared to serums in a bottle. The consistency reminded me of a silicone based primer which I didn’t love.. it felt a bit weird to apply. I used it at night after cleansing and my skin looked nice and healthy. It was gentle on my skin.
