Estée Lauder DayWear Advanced Multi-Protection Anti-Oxidant Creme SPF 15 Normal/Combination

Estée Lauder have stellar products and this DayWear is no different. I love the added SPF15 and how quickly the cream absorbs I to the skin. There is no residue and my skin feels soft to the touch. With daily use my skin does look plumper and more hydrated but this is more for normal-dry skin, not normal-oily as it does leave a pretty decent shine on my forehead. I’ll repurchase this again but in the matte formula.

This moisturiser has a lightweight texture that just glides on leaving the skin feeling soft and smooth. The moisturiser absorbs into the skin fairly quickly and the skin doesn't feel sticky at all. My skin feels awake and with natural glow instantly after applying on my face. The moisturiser is very hydrating as a makeup base and it didn't interfere with the foundation at all.

Everything from the scent to the silky smooth texture of this cream is luxurious. It feels as if it melts right into your skin and is absorbed immediately. The night cream is just as wonderful, but the fact that the day cream has spf and you know you are covered is wonderful. Easily one of my favorite products for my skin.

Estee Lauder DayWear Creme has been one of my main staple SPF based day creams for many years now. I have combination skin, so the lightweight texture of the normal/combination skin formula is perfect for my skin type. The formula is hydrating, cooling and doesn't feel heavy or sticky on my skin. The cream comes in a jar which is one disadvantage as I would have preferred a pump bottle or tube. The fragrance is quite strong and is a distinctive cucumber scent that does linger for a while. The fragrance doesn't irritate my skin but I would prefer something less overpowering and not as strong. The cream contains a good mix of anti-oxidant ingredients and SPF15 which provides some basic UV protection. I have some dry lines on my cheeks and everytime I apply this cream it definitely helps smooth and plump out my lines. I have no major wrinkles or age spots and I think using DayWear has helped keep my skin smoother and healthy looking over the years. This is a great all-round anti-aging day cream that absorbs well into the skin and gives me a natural, healthy glow without any shine in my t-zone. It helps my foundation glide on smoothly, and also helps moisturise and hydrate the dry areas on my face without making the rest of my face oily. One major disadvantage is the slightly high price tag, as you need to apply the cream to your entire face, neck and decolletage, so I need to buy a new jar every few months at least. I would recommend DayWear to anyone looking for a good quality, preventative or anti-aging day cream that contains effective ingredients and leaves the skin feeling soft and hydrated. If you have very sensitive than the cucumber fragrance maybe too overpowering for your skin. Other than that it's a great day cream that is definitely worth a try.

This moisturiser from Estee Lauder is targeted towards those with combination to normal skin types, and suits my skin to a tee. Though I'm in my early 50's, my skin is combination - great for me i.e. no dry skin means fewer wrinkles, but combination skin does have unique needs and needs skincare that works effectively to meet those needs - I've used this a few times over the years & notice how consistently great my skin is when this is in my bathroom cabinet. The creme is lightweight, hydrating, and has a distinctive scent I love - like cucumbers (which is funny because I don't enjoy eating cucumbers!).  But put the scent in any product and I'm all over it! Also the texture is very soft and silky, making it truly delightful to use. It sinks in very well & I've always found it to be an ideal base for any makeup or CC creams that follow. Importantly I also know my skin has the best anti-ageing ingredient out there - UVA / UVB protection of SPF15.  Combined with my usual base of a CC cream that also has protection, I know I'm doing everything possible to keep my skin free from sun damage. I notice my skin is clear from pimples or blemishes using this, while it's also very adequately hydrated.  This cream gives me everything I need in a cream, and to be honest, I have a glow that's very hard to replicate with other creams when I use this. While in theory I'm now moving into the age where other Estee Lauder creams should be on my radar, I do enjoy using this product, and with combination skin, I find it's very suitable. Icing on the cake is that it's also one of EL's more affordable moisturisers! Very highly recommended.
