Estée Lauder New Dimension Shape + Fill Expert Serum

I don't think I have ever seen another serum with so many different good ingredients in it. Having been using Estee Lauder's Advanced Night Repair Synchronised Complex II for years, I thought I would try something a little different. I have mostly normal skin but as I am now in my mid-thirties, I start to have aging concerns such as fine lines and pigmentation. I was recommended to give this Shape + Fill Expert Serum a go. This serum is again, very good, but for the following reasons I do not think I would stick with it. I prefer the Advanced Night Repair serum that I have been using. This shape + refill serum comes in a large 50mL size in a sturdy, opaque bottle with a pump. This packaging protects the content from light and also has a hygienic design which dispenses a precise amount for every use. The product itself has a yellow tinge and a thin-lotion consistency which I found thicker than most serums I have used. I use approximately 1.5 pumps each time for the entire face and neck area, twice a day after toning and before moisturiser. The product is quite thick and I found that I have to use more product than other thinner serums in order to get a good coverage. The serum feels silky smooth to apply, and it is quickly absorbed by my skin without any stickiness. The serum is jam packed with lots of good ingredients: numerous plant extracts, algae extracts, antioxidants, hyaluronic acid, peptides, etc. The claims that it can "contour" the face and visibly lift jawlines and cheeks are probably exaggerated.  That said, I think that it does a very good job in maintaining my overall skin elasticity, suppleness and smoothness. On the other hand, I don’t think that my fine lines and pigmentation has improved dramatically over the course of one bottle.  However, these concerns are probably better addressed by the Advanced Night Repair serum rather than Shape + Fill. Personally, this is not a serum that I would re-purchase again at its full price ($195) because I prefer a thinner textured serum and the other Estee Lauder serum works well for my purpose. However, it is a good option of people who prefer a serum with thicker consistency and abroad range of ingredients.

I received this in a Marie Claire parcel and have been using for a week now. It spreads very easily and you only need a few drops, therefore despite its expensive price it goes a long way. I use it daily morning and night. My skin is certainly smooth and nourished, even though its winter.  It makes a great base on your skin before using foundation. I would use this again, however,  must admit I prefer Estee Lauder Perfectionist Wrinkle Lifting Serum.

I started using this with a fervent wish it would help tighten and lift my jawline. Which it does! It is very light and I only use a few drops, so it lasts a long time, and my skin appears visibly lifted and smoother. This ones a keeper!

This is a light floral scented serum that sinks deep into my skin and leaves my skin looking smooth and feeling utterly supple. It is a milk white colour and spreads easily onto my face, neck and décolletage. I only use 1 or 2 drops and it is an ideal base for my favourite moisturiser afterwards. I use this daily in the morning and in the night as my essential skincare component. The result is that my skin looks smooth, dewy, and nourished.  It is a wonderful treat for my skin taking my skincare regime to the smooth and suppleness I could only dream of before. Wow, definitely a repurchase!
