Estée Lauder Pure Color Envy Blooming Lip Balm

I love the Estée Lauder Pure Color Envy lipstick range so no doubt I got the blooming lip balm as well. This lip balm has a smooth creamy texture that doesn't feel thick or sticky on lips and is it super nourishing on my dry lips. Besides using it as a balm I also use it as a lip primer, leave it on my lips for two to three minutes then wipe off and apply the Envy Matte lipstick.

This lip balm is a dream!  It truly surpassed all my expectations.  It feels hydrating, but like I have nothing on.  Not great for overnight, but ideal for daytime or for wearing under lipstick.  Whether you wear creamy, satin or matte lipstick, this will not interfere at all with whichever formula you choose.  I got mine as a deluxe sample in a GWP, but it was love at first try and I’ve already ordered a full size.  One of my favourite beauty buys so far this year.

This has very lovely quality packaging for a lip balm - it doesn't look like it would be a lip balm from the outside.  I like the way it twirls up like a lippy too which makes it a little bit fancy.  The balm makes my lips look healthy and feel instantly hydrated, protected from moisture loss and it's effect lasts really well on the lips.  It makes me feel special when I use it because it has that gorgeous extra high quality about it that Estee Lauder products tend to have.  I feel like I'm doing my lips a favor when I use this.  It doesn't have any scent and you can't get it wrong with this lip product.

The Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Blooming lip balm is the ultimate in fuss-free lip treatments. The balm looks like a traditional lipstick, is light pink in the tube, applies clear and reacts with your lips to create a unique flush of colour. The subtle change happens in around 5-10 seconds and,on my lips, results in a natural, ‘your lips but better’ pinkish hue. The formula is very hydrating, glides on easily and feels very smooth on the lips for a reasonable amount of time (a few hours) before I need to re-apply. And unlike some colour-enhancing lip balms, there is no minty scent or flavour and it doesn’t make your lips tingle. Even through it’s a lip balm, Estee Lauder certainly haven’t scrimped on the packaging. It has the same luxe navy and gold packaging that we are accustomed to with Estee Lauder lipsticks, and feels very well made and is substantial to hold. Oh, and the case is magnetised so when you put the lid back on you hear a very satisfying‘click’ sound (that is, if you like that sort of thing, which I do!). This balm is a great option when you need to nourish your lips and add some colour, but without the hassle and commitment of a lipstick. It looks fancy, too! Highly recommend!
