Including a vitamin C serum into my skincare routine has become an essential part of my daily routine over the past few years and this one in particular is one of my absolute favourites! Not only because it is very affordable and always easy to locate in stores, but because my skin responds to it so well. It feels smooth on the skin, is easy to use with the dropper and absorbs quickly making skin feel instantly hydrated and appear brighter. I use this both morning before moisturiser and makeup and evening after cleansing. Since using this product, my skin definitely looks more toned and is less irritated from Spring and the extra pollen, etc in the air and when I have a spot flare up, this serum calms down the appearance of redness and irritation. Love, love, love this! You need to try it!

Garnier Vitamin C Brightening Serum applied after the Garnier Vitamin C Brightening Liquid Care was light on my skin, with no strong smell. As someone with sensitive skin, the more products I use, it can be challenging to pick what works and what doesn’t. But this left my skin looking and feeling softer and smoother, pleasantly hydrated. I haven’t noticed any change in the few dark spots on cheeks and forehead, but will continue to use and hope to see if it does make a change after a few months.

I have found that since I've started using the product, my skin in more hydrated. I like the scent that they've used for this, however, it does feel a little sticky when applied and have found that when I rub my face, sometimes it feels like the product didn't absorb as much as it should have. I trialled the Garnier Vitamin C Range including the Brightening Serum. I am quite familiar with vitamin C products, using them religiously!! So when I say this product is a great product for the price point I know what I am talking about. I have very fair sensitive skin, so often have to go into using products (particularly vitamin C products) with caution to minimise any adverse effects. I used this product as directed and did not experience any flaking or peeling. The packaging is basic, but enough visibility to see when you need to buy a replacement. The dropper provided for easy dispensing minimising wastage. Consistency wise the product did not leave any nasty residue, unlike some of the products in this range, and no overwhelming scent, so it is easy to apply and use! After using the product for about 5 weeks I found that my skin was brighter and tighter on par with some of the more top of the line products that I use.

It was a nice serum i actually found it quite hydrating and a nice change from a daily moisturiser, in terms of actually being the most effective vitamin c serum it’s not the best I’ve used. It was a really nice scent but I am also quite skeptical when face care has a strong scent to it, and most of the effective vitamin c’s I’ve used have a ham-like scent but this one didn’t, I had to use it longer to see any real difference so if you’re looking for something more quick acting this probably isn’t for you.

I received this product to review and I was excited to try it. It has been a long time since I have tried Garnier skincare. I was pleasantly surprised. The first thing I noticed was there was no metallic smell that so many vitamin c serums have. This was a big plus for me. The serum was light weight and mixed well with my other products. I found this serum to be relatively gentle. My skin has been a little sensitive lately but I have still been able to use this serum several times a week. Salicylic acid is not an ingredient that I use a lot. Not sure if I saw any benefits from the addition of this ingredient. Overall I think this is a nice serum. I think it would suit anyone looking for a good basic vitamin c serum. I think it has given my skin a nice glow but cannot speak to how effective it is for dark spots. Overall it was a win for me.

I tried the Garnier Vitamin C Brightening Serum as part of the BeautyCrew trial and was pleased with the results. I used it in conjunction with the Garnier Erase It All Makeup Cleansing Balm and Garnier Vitamin C Brightening Liquid Care. My skin felt cleaner, fresher and definitely brighter. The product does not have an annoying fragrance, is suitable for sensitive skin - such as mine and is easily applied. It is inexpensive and available at most stores that sell cosmetics. After using this product, my skin looked better, my makeup looked better and stayed on longer. I will be happy to purchase this item in the future for regular use.

I have been trialling the Garnier Vitamin C Brightening Serum for the past few weeks and have noticed a big improvement in my skin! I have dry and dull skin which can be reactive, and despite the niacinamide in this serum, I was able to use with no issued whatsoever! I noticed that the vitamin C was not sticky as I had previously found with other vitamin c serums and it absorbed quickly and I was able to apply other skincare other it with no issued. My skin looks brighter and more even after just this short period of use.

I absolutely love this product!! I have seen so many improvements since using it! I have struggled with some darker spots on my face for a while, after a week using this serum, they had started diminishing. I have been using it every morning and have noticed my skin is brighter and looks nicer overall. When applying makeup over the top, the products absorb so well and leave me looking airbrushed. Before using it, I sometimes would notice my pores through makeup. I no longer. The formula is great. It's lightweight, has a nice sheen to it and soaks into my skin without leaving any residue. Easy to apply and it blended in well and didn’t leave any unpleasant stickiness or residue. Makes your skin silky, smooth that feels hydrated without feeling heavy, due to having a non greasy finish, which I like about this product. It's great for layering after using the Garnier Vitamin C Brightening Liquid Care during the night. It is very pleasantly mild fragranced, which is not too strong or heavy.

Bright and Glowing are two words I would use to describe how my skin looks after using this for over three weeks now. I have noticed in the short time of using Garnier vitamin C brightening serum, a more even skin tone and a healthier look to my skin, My pores have reduced in size and when applying my make up I have a more even texture and my skin looks more nourished. I used it on my face, neck and chest. I’ve been using it morning and night and have enjoyed doing this routine and having visible results. I would recommend this serum as it’s light non-sticky and absorbs fast, it has vitamin C, niacinamide, salicylic acid and melasyl.
