Glow Lab Hydro-Surge Overnight Cream

I recently tried Glow Lab Hydro-Surge Overnight Cream and was disappointed with the results. While the cream boasts a luxurious, lightweight formula and contains five types of hyaluronic acid for deep moisture recovery, I found it lacking in performance. My skin felt slightly moisturized, but there were no noticeable improvements in texture or hydration. Additionally, it didn’t absorb well, leaving a sticky residue. My biggest gripe with it was the smell, it was absolutely overpowering and smelt artificial. Overall, it did not meet my expectations given the price.

Received this item to trial as part of the BeautyCrew trial team. For starters, my skin type is dry/sensitive and I have rosacea. My main issue with this item and why I wouldn’t purchase is the scent is overpowering. I prefer my products lightly scented or not scented at all. I found this one quite strong and it lingered which I didn’t like. The packaging as well I find night creams work better in a pump and for that matter any creams so it doesn’t get yucky with your hands or needing a spatula to use. The cream has big claims “working tirelessly overnight to boost skin renewal, prevent and repair fine lines and wrinkles, and reduce hyperpigmentation”. On the claims, I found it did provide moisture that is definitely needed in winter, but didn’t see any fine lines or wrinkles be repaired. I can’t comment on hyperpigmentation as that I don’t have. Overall, it was an alright product but I wouldn’t rush out to purchase.

I thoroughly enjoyed using the Glow Lab Hydro-Surge Overnight Cream. This product is very hydrating and is super lightweight. I have incorporated this product into my nightly skin care routine and have found my skin to be super smooth in the mornings. My only issue with this product is the smell, it is very in your face and overpowering. Besides the smell, I really like this cream and will hopefully be able to continue to use it and get used to the smell. I highly recommend this product if you are able to look past the scent.

I have been using the Glow Lab Hydro-Surge Overnight Cream in the evenings. Lightweight, white in colour I use a pea sized amount as my last step in my skincare routine, a little goes a long way this spreads really well on my skin. Once on my skin it absorbs really well leaving my skin well nourished and feeling hydrated. The only downfall for me is the scent, it is very scented and it is a very strong sweet scent which isn’t pleasant but it doesn’t linger which is a positive. The next morning my skin feels soft and well moisturised. I would purchase this again if the formula stayed the same minus the scent. I would recommend this night moisturiser.

I’ve been super excited to try the Glow Lab Hydro-Surge Overnight Cream. It comes in a really nice jar and is absolutely packed to the rafters with amazing skincare ingredients including: 5x Types Hyaluronic Acid, 3 Ceramides (Ceralipid PI 236), Beta Glucans, Squalane, and Aloe Vera. I was excited to try this overnight cream as part of my evening skincare routine to boost my skin and found that my skin was visibly more hydrated, plumper and my fine lines were reduced, after consistent use for a couple of weeks. Its texture is lovely and doesn’t leave a sticky feeling on my skin. Highly recommend!

I have been really impressed with every Glow Lab product I have used so I was pleased to have the opportunity to trial the Hydro-Surge Overnight Cream. The Hydro-Surge Overnight Cream is like a lotion in consistency – very lightweight and almost watery – and it has a pleasant botanical scent. The cream spreads over my skin effortlessly and absorbs well leaving my skin feeling soothed, well-nourished and hydrated. I apply this cream at night as the last step in my skincare routine and I awake to silky smooth, plump skin. I have dry skin with fine lines but after using the Hydro-Surge Overnight Cream for more than a month I can see that the texture of my skin has improved. I’m looking forward to seeing further improvement over the next few weeks.

This moisturiser comes in a 50ml jar and the formula contains aloe vera, coconut oil, jojoba esters, squalane, various types of hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, ceramides, vitamin B5. It's very lightweight and has a gel-cream texture. It feels hydrating on the skin, absorbs well but leaves a slightly sticky film and forms a protective layer overnight. The scent is quite strong and unfortunately not one that I enjoy. Despite the light texture, my skin isn't dry in the morning, nor is it oily in the way some heavier nourishing night creams can feel in the morning. Even though this night cream doesn't leave my face dry overnight, I prefer something a bit heavier in winter to really top up my skin's moisture levels. This night cream doesn't feel quite enough for that, but I reckon it would be perfect in summer. I just wish it wasn't so fragranced.

It also contains other ingredients including aloe vera, B5, squalane, and ceramides to ensure your skin stays healthy. It is a cream so I don't need to use a whole lot to get the benefits. I use it on my face and neck after cleansing and it's quite nourishing. For me, this provides enough hydration but you can also layer it with other skincare products if your skin is very dry. It doesn't feel heavy on the skin so it's comfortable. I personally would prefer a pump, rather than a jar, to apply the product as it's more hygienic and easier to use. Plus it helps to keep the product fresh. With the cold weather my skin gets dry and using this cream has helped to keep it hydrated and protected.

I really enjoy using the Glow Lab Hydro-Surge Overnight Cream. It is hydrating with a smooth lightweight texture. It feels very luxurious but not overly priced! It sinks into the skin and I wake up with the smoothest face. I have noticed a difference in weeks with the 'bounce back' of my skin. Unfortunately for me, the only down side is the overpowering smell of the cream. I prefer night creams that you cannot tell you are wearing, otherwise they do annoy me and make it hard for me to sleep. All in all, this is a small downside that I am happy I have tried to overlook because the results are so worth it!

I absolutely loved the glo lab hydro surge overnight cream. I honestly noticed a difference after using this cream for only a short time. The price is great considering the results so it’s excellent value for money. The cream is really luxurious and silky, it’s very luxe and decadent. It’s beautiful and light to wear and non greasy also. It sinks straight in and works overnight to hydrate my skin beautifully. In the morning my skin definitely looks fresher and not so tired, it feels really soft and it has definitely helped with fine lines and reducing pigmentation. This is a great anti ageing cream for more mature skin and I absolutely will be buying lots more of this overnight cream for the results, it’s a must have for me now. Great product
