Guess Seductive EDT

Seductive by Guess is a great basic perfume. It is a charming floral scent, which at first feels very simple, but becomes more complex as it settles onto my skin. It features some of my favourites components such as the freshness of bergamot and the sweetness of pear, jasmine and vanilla. It comes in an EDT concentration meaning that it is not the most long-lasting scent out there, but given the price point who cares! I love the bottle that it comes in too with the sleek cut glass and the heart shape charm dangling down the front. In one word - gorgeous! This is a beautifully youthful scent that will appeal to the younger generation I think. 

I purchased this because of sales pressure, so my distaste for this perfume might have something to do with that experience. It probably does. Definitely. However, if a perfume boldly called 'Seductive' fails to seduce the wearer into forgetting the horrible Guess salesperson, then I'm sorry, it just fails. Seductive starts out as a fresh fruity vanilla scent with some warmth and a lot of sweetness, then dries down to a woody and classy scent with much more warmth. At this point, it actually smells lovely - all vanilla and cashmere wood, with a hint of jasmine. The combination sounds sexy, but for some reason, it doesn't exude seduction or sexiness. Instead, it's elegant and perfect for work or lunch or an event where I need to be presentable without grabbing attention. Unfortunately, this point lasts all but one hour. An hour and a half, maybe, if I was heavy-handed with the spritzing. The worst part, in my opinion, is how forgettable this perfume is. In short, apart from a misleading name, Seductive has horrible longevity and such a weak sillage, I could only seduce a blood hound. Maybe. No, dogs hate scents. Yup, this is not a weapon of seduction. Good for quiet, short events.

I purchased this fragrance for my younger sister as guess is so cool and this pretty bottle and packaging were noticeable immediately. She loves it and so do I, its youthful, feminine and pretty. The scent is citrusey and light sexy and young, love the jasmine and vanilla with blackcurrant and pear. This scent comes at a great price point and makes a lovely gift, I would recommend this

I really like this perfume it smells nice & girly.Stays on for most of the day.I like it as a everyday daytime smell not to heavy.A good one to buy  as present for any age group.

This is the first perfume I bought with my first wage. I love how it smell, a little sexy and a bit girly. My collection has grown but this perfume is still the most meaningful one.

I received this perfume for my 21st birthday, and I have to say I didn't love it. I didn't hate it either, but it's definitely not my type of perfume. It's a bit too sweet, and doesn't last all that long. In saying that, if you're a real fan of fruity perfumes, this may be the perfect scent for you! The funny thing with perfumes is they really do sit differently on different people - this smells great on my mum but far too sweet on me.
