INIKA Certified Organic Pure Primer With Hyaluronic Acid

The Inka Certified Organic Pure Primer is on the expensive side, but I’ve got to admit it is pretty fantastic stuff. A little really goes a long way and it is super smooth and silky without feeling oily or heavy on my skin. On the days I wore the primer I had less shine and less oil appear on my face than I have with other brands of primer, and its made from Aloe Vera Juice, Apricot, Kernel Oil, Coconut Oil, Jojoba Seed Oil, Natural Vitamin E, Soybean Oil, Bermagot Fruit Oil, Lemon Myrtle Leaf Oil, and Lavender so it smells great. As are all Inka products, it is certified organic, vegan, hala and cruelty free – which is great. I would definitely recommend this as a primer, especially if you have oily skin like me, and will be adding this to my usual bathroom line up.

Makes a nice hydrating primer, but I'm not sure it does anything that can't be accomplished with a good skincare routine and moisturizer.  A white cream with a lotiony texture, it really does resemble a lightweight moisturizer more than a traditional silicone-based primer.  Lightly scented and very gentle -- I think it would be great for sensitive skin!

This white and creamy primer is extremely nutritious for the skin and for that it gets bonus stars for it's rating from me but I also find that this feels quite heavy and rich and it's probably because I have combination oily skin.  Though I also have ageing skin and I find that the richness of this primer benefits me in that aspect as it certainly keeps my skin feeling hydrated.  I do think all skin types can use this but I would advise, after using this several times, that the oilier your skin type the less quantity of this you would need to use for each application.  The drier the skin that you have the more liberal you could be with this primer.  So my best tip is to adjust the quantity you use depending upon your own personal skin type.  Less is more for me personally. The beautiful thing about this primer is how smooth a base it creates for make-up which is ultimately it's main goal I suppose!  So I give it lots of stars for this attribute.  I do wish there was some form of SPF in this but if it was to be used for indoors only or for night time use, then this primer is a perfect pick!  For daytime use, some other product has to come to the fore for me as I always need to use a sunscreen whether it be in my make-up, my moisturiser or my primer.   It has a light zesty scent which I think comes naturally from it's organic ingredients.  I love the pump top pack that it comes in - it's good quality and the ingredients stay fresh and hygienic.  

I love this primer, I originally received it as a sample in a beauty Box but quickly purchased it after trying it out. It is very lightweight and feels great on the skin, not too sticky and doesn’t feel like silicon.  My make up seems to last all day and for the price it is a lot cheaper than a lot of other primers out there. 

This is a simply beautiful primer. I adore inika products, this primer doesn’t clog my pores, it’s easy to use and the hygienic pump dispenser gives just enough product to cover my face, no mess. The primer is really silky and spreads with ease, it feels nice and light to wear and never turns oily. This leaves my skin really smooth and gives a nice Matt finish which provides the perfect canvas for my foundation for a really professional flawless finish. I love that it contains no chemicals, it’s all natural. I love the addition of hyaluronic acid, it really hydrates and deeply moisturises skin. This is a truly great primer, packaged modern and good value as a little goes a long way. I couldn’t find a negative and would recommend it.

As much as I want to use them, I've never been a fan of primers. They have always felt far too heavy and pore clogging for my combination skin and a lot of the time I've found they make my foundations clump up and ball instead of providing a smoother,more even application as claimed. I received two very generous 30ml samples of the Inika primer and as I was already a fan of the Inika brand -I had to give it a try. I had never used a primer with all natural ingredients before but it definitely appealed to me as I prefer my skin care to be as natural as possible. The primer comes in a black cylinder container with a handy pump dispenser. I was immediately surprised that it had quite a moisturizer type consistency once dispensed as others I have used have been a heavy gel like texture. The scent is absolutely beautiful.  A very subtle blend of citrus and bergamont. Two pumps of the bottle is all that is needed to cover the entire face. It feels so light and airy when applied and absorbs quite fast . My skin felt hydrated,yet mattified and I wasn't left feeling like my skin was clogged up and greasy like every other primer has made me feel. This primer lets skin breathe! I found it provided the perfect smooth canvas to apply makeup  and the end result was smoother,more even makeup (though I must admit,it works better for liquid foundations than powders.) I purchased one of Inika's trial packs and there was a deluxe sample of this in the pack. It was love at first use!!! Unlike a lot of primers, this one doesn't have a heavy silicone feeling. It feels incredibly lightweight and is perfect especially in summer. It has an almost lightweight moisturiser feeling. I find that it sets really quickly and helps to keep my make up looking flawless all day. I love that it contains Hyaluronic acid which is especially great for drier skin.The only negative thing that I can say is that it's on the pricier side, but I find that it's worth the extra money as it's such a wonderful product!
