Lancôme Rénergie Multi-Lift Day Cream Rich

This lovely luxe cream comes in a purple jar with a silver screw top. While it may initially appear that you don't get a lot of bang for your buck, given that it is rather pricey for just 50 ml, you do see results with this, and really, that is why we use skin care products in the first place, isn't it? Firstly, for anyone who has ever used Lancome products, this has that familiar scent, and for me, it always transports me back to when I was a kid and rooting through my mother's make up drawer. In fact, I think the first lipstick I was ever aware of in her stash was a Lancome one, so I've always liked Lancome, as it reminds me of her. The product itself is a peachy shade that doesn't show up on the skin, and has a rich, creamy consistency that doesn't clog up the pores, nor does it leave a tacky residue. In fact, it gets absorbed quite well, leaving the skin feeling soft and looking bright. The biggest thing I've noticed hasn't been the reduction in fine lines, but rather the brightness of my skin, which means that on the whole, my skin looks healthy and happy, and this is only after 2 weeks of use! Sadly, for a day cream, this doesn't have any SPF in it, and coupled with the fact that it comes in a jar, it generally wouldn't be something that I'd like. However, given that the cream is so very lovely, I can definitely overlook that, but that's why this only has 4 and not 5 stars.

Lets start with the obvious, Lancome's Renergie Multi-Lift Day Cream is on the expensive side. It is not something that I use everyday but rather it is a luxury item for me that I use when my skin really needs a boost.  The cream comes in a glass jar that is purple and silver and the packaging looks beautiful displayed in my bathroom.  The cream has a beautiful light floral scent, and it light pink in colour and has a thick even consistency. Once applied to the skin it absorbs quickly, and it is very soft and creamy when applied. It really feels like a luxury day cream. These is no greasy or sticky residue.  After the cream sinks in my skin feels soft, smooth and hydrated all day. After using the cream for a month I noticed that my skin really did feel firmer, was smoother and the skin tone itself was evening out.  I loved the results of this day cream, and if it wasn't for the price, I would be using this day cream every day. My tip is to wait for a Lancome GWP and then you can justify purchasing this cream. I would recommend this beautiful day cream to others.
