I purchased L’Oreal New Revitalift Laser x3 Renew Precision Eye Cream online as I'd found that other Revitalift products had worked quite well on my skin. After using this for a couple of months, regretfully I did not see any change at all in the look or feel of the skin under my eyes despite the product containing active ingredients including hyaluronic acid. I found the "cooling effect" of the metal applicator actually quite irritating so did not use this method for application, rather using some on the tip of my fingers (I used it during winter so that may explain my hesitation! Summer might be a different story, though). Having found other products that work quite well in my under eye area I won't repurchase this one.
I purchased L’Oreal New Revitalift Laser x3 Renew Precision Eye Cream after reading an article about the effects sun has on skin and eye health. Additionally L'Oreal is a trusted manufacturer of skincare.
The eye cream contains Hyaluronic Acid, Pro-Xylane and Caffeine. It claims to correct wrinkles, visibly reduces under-eye bags, re-firms the skin and stimulates microcirculation. The cream has a fluid texture that glides on easily with a metal applicator for an instant cooling effect. To dispense the cream, gently press the tube. and apply using the slanted metal tip applicator. Using fingers massage gently into the eye area until it is completely absorbed. Wait a few minutes before applying other skin care products or makeup It absorbs easily and leaves the eye area looking smoother. This might have something to do with the silicone content in the cream. I also felt makeup goes on more smoothly since the area is hydrated the cream kind of acts like a primer. I used the eye cream on clean, dry skin twice a day. I really felt it helped reduce the appearance of fine lines and sagging skin under the eyes while I noticed the caffeine worked in reducing eye bags and puffiness by getting rid of excess water in the area, something I suffer terribly from. It mostly delivers on its promises, however when I stopped using it the results disappeared. I'm also a bit disappointed that it didn't resolve under-eye dark circles. I feel to be a complete product its an important issue to be addressed.I personally found this product to be a quality product delivering 95% of what it says over the packaging.
If you are somebody who is concerned about dry skin especially under the eyes or you want to treat your eye bags and puffiness, this will do wonders to your skin. At a price that is super affordable you cant lose. Quite likely I sure will purchase again!!!
In a fair and just world, we would all age like Benjamin Button..... ‘backwards’ and become younger with time. But since we have not evolved to that reality (YET), be glad that there’s anti-aging products readily available in the market to help us combat the signs of aging – especially for around the telltale eye area.Ideal for women with all skin types, this L’oreal Paris Revitalift Laser X3 Eye Cream, with the naturally-derived glycan (or naturally sugar derived) Pro-Xylane, which has been proven in studies to reduce the appearance of crow’s feet, wrinkles, and puffiness, boost skin density and improve bounceback (from expression lines...which we shouldn't want to erase, even if we could...they express all our emotions, and we should be proud....but softening them is always on our minds) plus LHA (Lipohydroxy acid)....a smart exfoliating ingredient and Hyaluronic acid, (a skincare must have to hold amazing amounts more than it's weight in water ) to boost the moisturising effects of the formula.
I have using this cream morning and night for 6 weeks now,and absolutely love it.... the texture of the cream is very light, the metal tip applicator (a plus i discovered in another brand of eyecream i picked up in the UK years ago) gives a cooling sensation which is great to help reduce dark circle and puffiness, which is very gentle on the skin. It's especially great under make up (a nice base from which to begin your artwork),it's not greasy at all (a major plus for the aforementioned reason), absorbs instantly and provides a brilliant nourished feel (not at all greasy like some eyecreams can be...especially ones really formulated for night use)
Because it plumps up the fine lines,it helps make up resist settling into lines and the overall effect is great.Other heavier eye creams seem to just sit on the top and do nothing but feel like you have hit oil,but I found that although this is very lighweight its very very hydrating. The cream its self is soft and silky and sinks in quickly. It is easy to dispense and the packaging is nice (easy to use and apply a desired dose..no excess to deal with). As i mentioned, the cream comes with a metal applicator that cools the eyes as the cream is applied (which is divine in summer, and beautiful to work with on tired, sore eyes at the end of the day) It works on fine lines, eye bags, puffiness and wrinkles (which i did notice a reduction in...nothing that will change your life, but a visible result none the less ) but isn’t formulated to address dark circles (which is right up there for concerns we have in the eye area)....which is why i knocked stars off (that, and no SPF.In our climate,an eyecream that is used for the day really needs to come SPF combined).
All in all, this is a great product to try if the delicate eye area is a concern for you (IE:ALL OF US),and the metal applicator is a seriously wonderful addition to a product like this. The pricepoint is a little towards the "premium" end of the spectrum as far as mass produced lines go,but it also gives the "lux" end a run for their money.Recommend as something to try at least once.
TIP:This is a begging to be added tip:keep this cream in the fridge and apply...the cooling, soothing feel will be heaven to tired, sore, heavy feeling eyes.
