The Marc Jacobs Honey fragrance is just so beautifully crafted- a devine glass bubble shape with butterflies and vibrant yellow and black stripes- with pearls featured all over the glass bottle. The marc jacobs logo is centered and then there is the gold coil-wrapped collar- its just so pretty to look at and is really feminine- so much so I just didnt want to use it- I just want it to sit there and admire it! Now I thought that this fragrance was going to be very sweet and overpowering but I was wrong! Its a beautiful sweet smooth fresh floral and fruit! So much so that everytime I wear it I get loads of compliements~ so feminie and so graceful! The fragrance lingers gradually and is soft and gentle so doesnt smell overpowering or like you have dosed yourself in perfume! Its so fruity and has base notes of honey, golden vanilla and woods which linger gradually during the day- allowing for a smooth base! The top notes are much ligher with pear, fruit punch and mandarian being smelt and these fade graduually away! The staying power of this perfume is lovely and light- its still there at the end of the day and gradually lingers without being overpowering or making me feel like I have too much perfume on! This is perfect for a lovely daily scent- and I think because of its fresh feminine smell its perfect for those of all ages- even perfect for those with teenagers looking for there new fragrance or trying perfume for the first time! Definately another marc jacobs winner.
This was a gift and is now my everyday wear perfume, it is lovely. I'm not a fan of those big floral perfumes and so this is perfect for me. Its hard to describe but it's a fruity vanilla honey scent that isn't overpowering. It reminds me of a spring orchard with mandarins and honey.
I got this as a present from a friend and I love it! I have wanted this perfume for a long time because it was highly raved about. I understand the hype about it now that I own it. The packaging on its own is gorgeous and adorable to display on the vanity. The scent also feels sweet, fresh and girly but not over-powering and obnoxious. I love the scent and it lingers for quite awhile on me, making me smell like sweet honey. It is not too sickly sweet so it smells really elegant. I love sweet scents and thankfully, this did not have any musky notes that I can detect. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who likes sweet, light, fun and fresh scents.
In recent years Marc Jacobs have released fragrances for women that are simply outstanding - and Honey is no exception. The bottle design is unique, fun, colourful & easy to find on the dresser! It's adorned with bumble bees & pearls, and of course has vibrant splashes of yellow. Honey is a truly delightful scent for the warmer weather, and very suitable for casual wear, a lunch date or office wear. It opens with vibrant, fruity notes, that soon turn into middle notes of fruit & flower. The base notes have honey & really give the scent it's beautiful & unusual signature scent. Vanilla wafts through the base notes & joins woods. Wearing time is very good & silage moderate - not too strong for the office, or overpowering in the warm weather. All in all, this is a beautiful scent that would appeal to most ages too. Highly recommended.
I wears this to my job and it smells great. It's not too strong which suits my boss as he has allergies to strong smell. You can actually smell a hint of honey in this perfume. And again with the bottle, I just can't resist owning all the Marc Jacobs's perfumes because of their bottles.
Love this perfume! It is a beautiful scent and great for a variety of occasions, but I mostly use it during summer. I must admit it was the packaging that drew me to this perfume in the first place, but the actual floral scent is great and it lasts a long time during the day. I usually don't wear many floral scents but I have always been drawn to this particular scent.
This scent is light, simple and upbeat. It is sweet without being overbearing, making it the perfect fragrance for warmer weather. However, it can easily be carried into the colder seasons due to its earthy undertones. This cannot be compared to any other fragrance in my opinion and I will be definitely repurchasing it, despite the arrival of winter. If you are considering buying this fragrance, you should know that you are getting incredible quality for your purchase. It is well worth the money spent. I frequently receive compliments on this fragrance when wearing it. I feel amazing when I put this product on. No matter what day I have lined up for myself, this has become part of my routine to prepare and ready myself for the day. I love many of Marc Jacobs fragrances, but this one has the edge on them. Give it a go even if you're not into sweet fragrances. I find it difficult to fathom how anyone could resist the subtlety of the scent.
I like to think of this perfume as the "little sister" of the original DOT perfume. This one is definitely more honey and mildly sweeter than the original. This is a light and happy scent and I can see how it can be worn more in summer and in the hotter months. It smells light and refreshing, but still sweet with an earthy base. I can actually sense that the sweetness in this perfume is more honey sweet than sugar sweet which is in the DOT perfume. Honey, you are sweet!
Firstly, the bottle (like all of the Marc Jacobs perfumes) is adorable, girly and feminine. This looks ultra sweet out on display with its cute little bees and polka dot design. Gladly the bottle isn’t all that this perfume has going for it… the contents smell great too!   So many perfumes these days tend to be a variation of a theme, that theme being ‘sweet and fruity’ or ‘floral and nannaish’. This, happily,  doesn’t fall into either of these categories. It has a sweet honey scent when first applied, not surprising considering the bees on the bottle. After a while though it warms down to something a bit deeper. Still sweet, but with a slightly woodsy scent but without becoming at all masculine. This is definitely a womanly rather than a girly scent.   The longevity is quite good and I find it lasts about four to five hours before needing to be reapplied. If only this came in a smaller 30ml size for putting in your handbag then life would be perfect!
