Biolage VolumeBloom Shampoo

This is the first Matrix Biolage product I have tried. I bought it along with the conditioner hoping it would give my hair a bit of a lift and to break out of my usual hair routine. So far, so good! What first caught my eye is the bottle. It's tall and tapered and easy to squeeze which is just what I want in a shampoo bottle.  The formula itself is glossy and white and lathers well. I have long, thick hair and a 50 cent size amount is enough to cover my hair.  I find that it cleans my hair and scalp really well even if I have a lot of hairspray or dry shampoo in it.  The scent is really subtle and lovely. The best way to describe it is fresh. It is not overpowering and it's a fragrance that I think most people would like. In combination with the conditioner this volume shampoo has my hair looking pretty good. It's smooth and silky and very shiny. It hasn't given me as much volume as I would like but to be honest that's probably down to my terrible blow drying technique! I'm definitely impressed with this brand and I will repurchase both the shampoo and conditioner and look forward to trying the rest of the Matrix Biolage hair range.
