Eyebrows are probably one of the harder steps in my makeup routine, where I usually use up to 3 products (Slim tip pencil, Sword Edged crayon and 3 pronged marker). I always struggle with having consistent brows with them either being too dark or too boxy/unsymmetrical etc, so this Tattoo Gel was a pleasant addition to my make up bag! I had the Medium Brown shade which was a slightly darker colour than I would usually pick for my brows as I prefer to have lighter (but still defined) brows. However the small/compact brush picked up a good amount of product that didnt overwhelm any of the feathering done previously. The medium brown shade was a nice ashy tone with no red/orange tints and allowed my brow hairs to look neatly singled out/defined.

I was pleasantly surprised by Maybelline Tattoo Brow Up To 36H Styling Gel! I have used other styling gels for my brows and found them unsatisfactory - clumpy, very thin wand/brush. I was also surprised that I needed a much lighter shade than I have used in other brands - I used blonde, where I have usually chosen a light brown shade. This Tattoo styling gel quickly thickened and styled my brows and gave me a natural look, which I prefer. The thick brush provided easy and effective coverage and it was very simple fo me to achieve the look I was after. This is a great price for a great product and I'll definitely buy it and use it again.

I get a monthly brown shape and tint but I was finding the tint never lasted long enough so I thought I'd give the Maybelline Tattoo Brow Up To 36H Styling Gel a while. The brush makes the gel easy to apply. The consistency is quite thick. I followed the instructions and made sure I wiped off excess pigment off brush before applying and then, I left it on for about 20 minutes. The result was great and I think will continue to improve the more I use the product. Best of all, I'm now going to skip the tint at the salon and do it at home. Hello, extra money I will save!

My usual brow routine consists of applying a brow pencil, therefore it was great to give this Gel a try. I natually have thin brows and I found this gel super easy to apply. It was easy to fill in my brows while also looking natural. I wore for the duration of the working day and my brows stayed put throughout the day with minimal to no smudging. The product is small that you can chuck it in your bag and top up throughout the day if needed, for exmaple if you needed to freshen up if you were going out after work. The time taken to do my brows has been cut in half with this gel and I very excited to keep using it and recommending.

An eyebrow gel is a must have in my makeup routine and I really loved using this one. It's definitely one of those products where a little goes a long way. I like to melt the product on the back of my hands and kind of get rid of any excess and apply it on. It's such a great colour, the perfect dark brown and it kind of blends all in even with the pencil on. It adds the right amount of definition and holds all those hairs in place. I really love the applicator as it's not too big or too small and really great at coating all the hairs.

This is a good product that provides colour and hood to the brows. However, this doesn’t have fibres. Which I would much prefer. It’s still a great product that I’ve been continually using and like! The brush is easy to use and adjust accordingly for use. It’s very user friendly too! However, because of the colour and staying power. I wouldn’t use this product to brush my brows up as I’d get pigment everywhere above my brow. Still a great product that I will continue to use, however not everyday.

This was my first time using the Maybelline Tattoo Brow Up Styling Gel. This product was easy to apply and a little bit goes a long way. However, I do wish that the lash applicator/spoolie was a little smaller as you need to be patient when filling in the front of your eyebrows. It dries quickly, which is great if you’re on the go! It is easy to remove - I usually use a cleansing balm to remove, and double cleanse aswell. I would opt for a lighter shade as it does appear to make my eyebrows pretty dark than it already is. The packaging is super convenient. I love how it doesn’t take up too much space! Overall, it is a good product and would recommend!

I was a bit uncertain whether to trust "drug store" brand brow gels, but the Maybelline Tattoo Brow Styling gel definitely did not disappoint. The consistency of the gel was easy to apply, and was long lasting on my very sensitive brows. They seemed thicker and fuller without looking over the top. The key with using this brow gel is to use less product as it goes a very long way. Too much product can leave quite a task in removing due to its extreme 36 hour long claim. The packaging is eye catching and fits in my make up bag perfectly. Having used more expensive higher end brands of brow gel, this definitely gives them a run for their money. I would recommend this for anyone looking at moving across to a brow gel or looking for a value for money alternative.

Thanks for the opportunity to try this. I haven’t tried a brow gel tint before so was great to give one a go. I found the size of the tube was fine, the product was easy to apply and the colour was a bit tad than what I’d choose so next time I’d go a bit lighter. I did find you had to use the product sparingly and not have too much on the brush otherwise it became a bit clumpy and made applying a bit more of a nusence. The tiny itself lasted all day and did not need any touch ups. It was also smudge proof and transfer proof. All in all, a great product and I would purchase again- just lighter as mentioned.

I really enjoyed this product! I'm someone who feels most put together when my brows are behaving themselves and this product has definitely found it's way into my everyday routine. My brow hairs can be quite coarse but this product had a strong enough hold without dossing over to that gross crunchy feel (Not a good eyebrow feel/look).The shade worked well with my colouring and added definition, helping my brows to look thicker and fuller without looking overdone. That being said, on my first application I learned a little product does go a long way so I suggest wiping off the excess prior to application.

I love an affordable eyebrow gel. My brow hairs are super long and hard to keep in place, especially all day. The first thing I will say is, if you want a brow gel that lasts, THIS LITERALLY LASTS ALL DAY. I tried rubbing it off with my hands, and it did not budge. The major let down for me with this product is that it is just way too pigmented and does not look natural on the face at all. Especially if you have darker hair. It just isn't wearable for me as the colour pay off is too intense. If this was a clear brow gel, it would honestly be my new favourite and I would use it non stop but as it is, it isn't for me.

This maybelline tattoo brow 36 hour styling gel had a nice colour to it. However, I don’t think this product was right for me. My browns are quite patchy when I applied this it enhanced the fact they were uneven. Even with using a pencil I was not able to get the desired look. I can assure you this product lasts 36hours, after attempting to remove the bow gel many times it remained. Although this product didn’t work for me, I can see how this would be great for someone who already has full thicker browns to enhance give that laminated look.

Upon trying this I definitely wasn’t in love. I have quite light and fine brows so was hoping to build on that but even after wiping off heaps of excess product it was still really quite bold for me. The only way I could use it was to then gently blot my brows so again get off excess product. The end result after doing all of these things was then wearable, hence the three stars, but I won’t be getting this product again. For how much effort I had to put in to then wind up with minimal results that weren’t the greatest anyway it’s just not worth it for me. If you have thicker bolder brows then it may very well work great, not so much for thinner or lighter brows.

Finally, a brow gel that actually tames my thick brows. I was super impressed by the staying power this had on my brows to keep them neat and in an ideal direction. It definitely made my brows look thicker and fuller. I would recommend that you wipe off excess to avoid having your eyes look too dramatic - unless that's the look you're going for. There was no transfer after drying, and lasted the day with no issues. Personally, I'd love to try this product in a clear gel, for a more natural look. The packaging felt appropriate and nice to use, the rectangular shape helps it to stand out in the make up bag to find. All in all, I'd recommend this if you are looking to tame your brows, and want them to look thick and fuller.

Maybelline coming through with the PIGMENT. Wow! This brow gel is definitely not for beginners. The first time I put this on, there was so much product and my eyebrows looked ridiculous. Took a couple of tries to get the product off my brows - but hey, at least you know it won't budge easily. Second time trying this product was a bit easier as I knew what to expect. I wiped any excess product off the spoolie and brushed through my brows with a light hand. Unfortunately for me, it still made my eyebrows a bit too dark for my liking (I prefer a more natural looking brow gel), but this is definitely great for those who love the bold eyebrow look. This product also really holds your brows in place all day and night.

I was quite apprehensive of the Maybelline Tattoo Brow Up to 36H Styling Gel, as I don’t do my brows often, I was worried this would be a difficult product to use and apply. The pigment was much darker than any brow pencils I have used in the past and I did not like the gel texture. I think the packaging is very sleek and nice, but the application was quite difficult and messy, I do not like exaggerated eyebrows and the spoolie seemed to pick up way more product than I needed. It was definitely lont lasting but I would recommend this product to some a bit more familiar with these gel brow products.

I enjoyed trialing Maybelline Tattoo Brow Up To 36H Styling Gel. I usually used the brow pencil. I have big brows so this product helped to hold the brows in shape a whole day. It is also highly pigmented which is really good, you don't need much of a product and it will last forever. The thing is you have to get used to using the brush as opposed to the pencil, the coverage is not precise as I want it to be. And it is quite hard to maneuver the brush. The formula is very good and it feels nice on the skin. I also really like that it was made in Italy which is a BIG YES. Would totally recommend this product.

I was really excited to try this brow gel but unfortunately I was rather disappointed. The product was messy and overwhelming to use. The wand was also not the best at applying the product, and I found that it was difficult to get an even application and made my brows look more unruly. The shade range was also not great, there were only a few shades to choose from, and none of them were a perfect match for my brows. The gel did not have any sort of hold either. For this price point, it was a big let down.
