NYX Professional Makeup Retractable Pencil Lip

NYX makes affordable products with a great colour range and this lip liner no exception. NYX takes it a step further by colour coding the entire outside casing to match the shade. This is a twist-up crayon type lip liner that doesn't requires sharpening. I have this in 'nude pink', which isn't really a nude pink but more of rose pink. The colour of the casing is more accurate than the shade name. I like how creamy the formula is - it glides on really smoothly without tugging. It's handy that it's retractable as well. It has good pigment - if I were to line my whole lip, it would be a solid matte lip colour. It's not as dry as a pencil lip liner, but it is long-lasting even with eating and drinking, as long as I don't rub my lips too much. Sadly this seems to have been discontinued in Australia, but still available in the US. It's a bit weird as it is a best seller.

You certainly get bang for your buck, I wouldn’t say that they’re the best lip liners I’ve ever used, but for that price point I cannot complain. They’re straightforward to use, easily build-able pigment, and they’re not too drying on my lips. I wish it was a little more blendable, but other than that they’re great!

I bought a couple of the NYX's Lip Liners as I had heard  they are very good.  Well, yes they have a wide range of colors and feel creamy when you apply to the lips, but for me this Lip Liner didn't stay on long at all.  I found it quite easy to wipe it off with my hands, whereas with other Lip Liners I use this can be a bit of a challenge.  I definitely won't buy again.

I absolutely love these retractable lip liner as they are so simple to use, just twist up, apply and go, no need for messy sharpening. They are slim and dont take up much room in my makeup bag, The formula is so creamy, a great texture that does not drag across lips, its got a moisturising quality as it glides on so easily, a great range of colours, for the price I can afford to keep several colours at once to match my different lipsticks. They define well and stop my lipstick for bleeding, a great product I would highly recommend
