Didn't see much of a difference
Wasn't a huge fan of this product. It comes in a lot of plastic packaging which is wasteful. I don't like creams in jars as they're unhygienic, it's difficult to get the right amount out and they go bad faster. I found this contained silicone and a lot of preservatives instead of active ingredients - for that price I've tried really good retinol products from other brands. I found it kinda just sat on my skin instead of absorbing in fully and wasn't hydrating enough especially for a night eye cream. If I accidentally applied too much - it would just ball off. Just felt like a light layer of silicone sitting on top of my skin. I didn't notice any difference in fine lines or skin quality. I could easily buy a much better quality retinol eye cream for the price without any of these issues. It's a lot of product in a tub going to waste because it doesn't sink in properly.
all I can say is WOW!! This eye cream is game changing! Within 2 weeks I noticed a huge difference. My eyes were less puffy, lines were smooth and looking refreshed. Absolutely love this product and have no included into my skin care
Firmer and Brighter!
I don't really have dark circles under my eyes or wrinkles, but i did notice this eye cream left my under eye area looking a lot brighter and firmer and was still well hydrated in the morning. Nice thick consistency and easy to apply.
Great on dark circles
Olay Regenerist Retinol 24 Night Eye Cream is a little pot of magic! At first I wasn’t sure how I’d go using it as the morning after application the corner of one eye looked red & irritated but that was the only time that happened & even with nightly use the skin around my eyes have been fine if not improved!
I have naturally deep set eyes & suffer dark circles but this cream improves the look of the circles really well! I noticed the fine lines around my eyes look improved with use of this cream but I would recommend using a sunscreen religiously when using any retinol containing products. The only thing I didn’t like about this product is the packaging. It’s so bulky & wasteful with layers of thick plastic & then a thick layer of silver cardboard. The pot itself is small so I’m sure it’s could be improved upon dramatically by Olay. So glad I’ve been able to use this product as I generally have found good eye creams for lessening dark circles quite hard to find (that actually work or are effective!).
Not worth the cash
The first thing that struck me about this Olay product was the packaging; it's way over the top for a tiny little jar. I think so much of the price tag (for this product) is tied into the packaging, rather than the quality of the product - which of course was tested for the entirety of the product trial. The jar itself is plastic and reasonably durable but in no way fancy. Again, this contradicts the excessive price tag that accompanies this product.
I used this cream consistently every night on receipt of the product. I found the product consistency rich, creamy and easy to apply. It absorbs well and did not cause any conflicts with my current evening regime. However, it did not improve my eye concerns in any small (let alone dramatic) way. I think this product requires a longer trial period for me to reap any real benefit. For the purposes of the trial, I can only state this product to be of average results, and was not competitive to my tried-and-true day/night eye cream that I've been using all year (that costs less than $10). I will continue to use this Olay eye cream until it finishes to see if there are any changes. If there are, I will report back. At this stage, I think this is at best, a nice change of pace, but otherwise a costly exercise for those who choose to spend the money. I would not elect to make the purchase.
This eye cream is creamy and light. I haven’t seen a huge difference in combating wrinkles and fine lines but I believe it’s helped with brightness and dark spots. I’m using less concealer when I apply makeup and I feel as though my eye area is a lot more hydrated throughout the day.
I used this along with the Olay Eyes Ultimate Eye Cream during the day. I did find it made my eye area dry but using it with Olay Eyes Ultimate Eye Cream it did help the dryness. I found that it got rid of the puffiness around my eyes. for the price they sell it. Its worth it. I have been using it for close to a month and I find it has helped and I see a difference.
I really liked this product! I suffer from dark circles under my eye and it’s always annoyed me. I felt like this product helped reduce the darkness under my eyes and made me look more alive and refreshed. The consistency of the product was also quite thick and not too thin, I really felt like I was getting value out of it. I would definitely recommend it for all your eye needs!
Olay Retinol night eye cream had a silky soft texture and a little certainly goes along way. I didn't have any adverse reaction. I noticed instant brightness after the first application and woke up in the morning to plumper and smoother under eye. After 2 weeks, I noticed a slight reduction in fine lines around the crows feet area. I will continue to use this product and will purchase it again in the future. The positive experience with this product has now got me curious as to how the rest of the Olay range performs.
This Olay Regenerist Retinol 24 Hour Night Eye Cream is a lovely way to take care of the fine skin around your eyes without breaking the bank.
It has retinol and nicatinamide which helps combat the signs of aging. It also brightens and moisturises. It is perfect for me as I’m in my thirties and beginning to see fine lines and wrinkles. It doesn’t irritate my skin either and I can have reactions or breakout so this is good. I would recommend this product to those with fine lines and wrinkles wanting to treat these signs of aging.
Lovely eye cream
I’m not usually one for eye creams, but I quite liked this. It’s quite light and absorbs nicely.
I’ve noticed an improvement in my under eye skin; it’s no longer dry, minimised my dark circles and fine lines seem to be improving slowly. I also usually find eye creams irritate my eyes but this cream works perfectly and there’s zero irritation. I’d definitely repurchase.
Promising at first
This cream seemed quite nice at first, my underage areas appeared brighter and plumper after around 1 week of use. Sadly, not long after that I had a bad reaction and the cream irritated my eye area. I had to discontinue using it but it seemed so promising I'm thinking about working it in on a once weekly or so basis to try and get some benefits. I do have fairly sensitive skin around the eye area, so if you also have this problem, this may be one to avoid.
To be completely honest, I am the laziest person when it comes to eye cream. I am usually a one-moisturiser-fits-all kind of girl. But I gave this a try and I have been pleasantly surprised at what a difference it has made. Under my eyes has become less puffy and the dark circles have reduced a fair bit too. Its so creamy that it feels lush applying it - there's nothing worse to me than applying a thin consistency cream.
I sometimes suffer from eczema, especially under my eyes so I am always a little hesitant to try something new that may trigger it. This has not done that, in fact the skin there has been less irritated since I began using this.
Bye bye botox!
I think I can cancel my botox!!! I love this cream. No stinging, no dryness. I'm an old hat at retinol but this is one of the better ones. Clear glowing undereyes. Looks like I've slept for 8 hours. Never will be without this little beauty.
Firmer, perkier less puffy peepers
Look I'll admit I am pretty slack with the old eye cream. I'm more of a one moisturiser-does-all kinda girl - a serum perhaps if you're lucky. But I gave Olay Retinol 24 Night Eye Cream a try and I quite liked it - I think I could definitely see results. Less puffy eyes, firmness without tightness, reduction in the appearance of those laughter lines (though really what have we go to laugh about here in Melbourne lockdown). Seems I may be convinced.
this eye cream is so soft and subtle. I only used to wear my eye cream at night now but with this eye cream i wear this throughout the day and night. It has made my crows feet less visible and i love the texture.
Luscious eye cream you'll just wanna eat up
Luscious eye cream you'll just wanna eat up
Thank you Olay my eyes had so many dark circles and lines from being couped up due to Covid but not anymore. The Olay cream really refreshed and revitalised my look.
Fabulous retinol eye cream with a great price.
As someone who has used retinol daily for years I was REALLY excited to use this retinol eye cream. Desperate to keep the wrinkles away. I found the first 3 days using consecutively at night I had fabulous results. The skin in my eye area looked rested, softened and brighter, unfortunately though after a few days I started to experience the dreaded retinol effects. I had to cut back application of the eye cream to twice a week only as it caused extreme sensitivity, stinging and a feeling like the skin around my eyes was severely sunburnt which is pretty normal with a retinol, though I’m interested to know the exact strength of this one as it’s not mentioned. I had to use a soothing cream twice a day for well over a week to fix this.
I was surprised by this result as I have been using retinol for years nightly.
I think this eye cream will absolutely produce effective results with its inclusion of retinol but you definitely need to slowly introduce the cream to your routine (unless of course your skin isn’t delicate like mine).
I will be continuing to use this eye cream as I’m retinol obsessed and love the idea of preventing wrinkles around my eye area.
Brightness is coming back
Upon receiving this product I’ve started using each evening. It is still early days, but I have noticed my eyes are brighter.
The fine lines are still there but I hope to see this improve over time.
Lovely to apply, but made skin flaky
I was chosen to trial the Olay Regenerist Retinol 24 Night Eye Cream. I was really excited, and keen to see if it would help my under eye circles.
I used it every second night, along with the Retinol 24 Night Moisturiser Cream. as suggested to avoid irritation. The little pot is classy, and very generous with the amount that is in it, and the cream felt beautiful. Applying it was really nice and really easy – it was so velvety, and had the perfect consistency to allow me to pat it around the eye but to then sink in quickly, leaving no sticky feeling. I also loved that it never stung my eyes, as sometimes eye creams do if a tiny bit seeps in.
After the fourth application, I noticed dry patches where I have never had them before – under my eyes where the circles are! I persevered every second night, hoping to get used to the cream. (NB. The Night Moisturiser did the same to my face, but after just 2 applications). After each subsequent application, these dry patches got worse – and could be seen clearly once I applied concealer and powder under my eyes. Luckily I am WFH due to COVID-19, and I’m sure it couldn’t have been spotted on my daily work video conference calls! The dryness spread to my eyelids and then in my eyebrows, which was a bit gross.
I don’t usually have any skin sensitivities - I can use any product - but the dry patches I experienced while using it for over 3 weeks, and the fact I saw no improvement in my under eye shadows or in my little lines at the outside of my eyes in texture, means I wouldn’t use it again. I stopped once the trial period was finished.
I did really enjoy applying it though, and I so wished it had worked, or at least not irritated my skin around my eyes. It was a really nice product to apply.
