Olay Total Effects 7 in One Day Cream Normal SPF 15

A good face cream that was moisturising and absorbed well. Products that come in a pump bottle are my favourite because then I can be sure that it will be hygienic and it will be the most convenient way to also take it on my travels. This cream had a strong scent but unfortunately, it wasn't my favourite, I prefer more natural and herbal scents. On a positive note, the cream did moisturise very well and having an SPF15 included is an added bonus. I would recommend it to everyone who just want their cream to work and are not after anything special.

WOW. I have always been a bit of a beauty snob - I was using a $100 day cream before jumping onto the Olay Total Effects, which just happened to come my way as a gift with purchase. I wasn't expecting much. More precisely, I didn't know what to expect as I don't have a lot of experience with Olay. It turns out that Olay Total Effects has quickly become one of my favourites. First, Let's talk about its perfect packaging. How great is that to have the product packaged in a cylindrical airless pump bottle to isolate the product from oxygen and other contaminants. Easy to use and hygienic! Second, the ingredients are first class. It contains antioxidants, vitamin B3 (for brightening), pro-vitamin B5 (for hydration) and vitamin E (for nourishment). And on top of that, a SPF 15 sun protection. How good is that! The way that it applies on skin is almost perfect. It glides on easily onto skin - it does not require a massive effort to work the product into the skin. It does not really fully absorb, but it is not sticky either. The scent is subtle. My skin feels hydrated, moisturised and looks luminous all day when I am wearing it. I actually found that it sits very nicely under makeup and my makeup lasts very long for some reason - it almost doubles up as a primer! Such an unexpected but pleasant bonus! Lastly, let's talk about affordability! $30 for a 50mL is already a reasonable starting price point - not to mention Olay often goes on sale in Priceline and Coles! Olay Total Effects has definitely ticked all my boxes for a perfect day cream!

The Total Effects day cream is my daily staple. It leaves my skin soft, supple am smooth and I love that it also protects my face from the sun due to the SPF 15. Since using it combined with the richer night cream I have noticed a reduction in the fine lines on my face, and that my skin is noticeably smoother.

I received a travel sized sample of the Olay Total Effects Day Cream for Normal skin and to be honest It is not a product that I would have bought myself, but I was happy to try it. The cream has been formulated to target signs of aging including dryness, dullness, enlarged pores, sagging, uneven texture, uneven tone, fine lines and wrinkles. The sample comes in a 12g bottle complete with pump-top dispenser. I love that I am not having to dip my fingers into the product. The cream is quite rich in consistency, but not too thick. It does have an SPF rating of 15+, I much prefer a higher rating so I apply my regular sunscreen over the top without issue. With a silky texture, the product smooths easily across my skin. Although it is heavily fragranced, it is a pleasant scent and doesn't last long once applied to the skin. I am used to naturally scented products which is probably why the scent seemed strong to me. The cream absorbs quickly and leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth. My skin also feels adequately hydrated after use. I do believe that this product provides a radiant glow to my face. The Olay Total Effects Day Cream has been a pleasant surprise. The cream is much better than I thought it would be and I would consider buying a full size.

Olay Total Effects 7 in One Day Cream Normal SPF 15 - This great product is one of my regulars - it's nice and creamy and easy to apply and makes your skin feel soft and it's great that there is the SPF15 included. Could be used by women of any age. Although it doesn't have a colour to it, it does even out the skin tone a little.

I’ve used various Olay products over the years and I always seem to have at least one Olay product in my stash at any one time.      The Olay Total Effects 7 in 1 Day Cream Normal SPF 15 has quite a pleasant fragrance – not overpowering, but it definitely lingers after I apply the moisturiser.  The cream is an off-white colour, and has a thick, silky consistency.      The moisturiser is packaged in a plastic bottle with a pump top which makes it easy to dispense the product, and the pump is covered by a clear lid.    The moisturiser is lightweight and smooths easily over my skin and absorbs very well leaving a slight sheen. There is no greasy or tacky feeling and my skin is left feeling well hydrated.  I haven’t experience any irritation or redness.  There is no pilling or flaking when I apply my primer and BB cream over the moisturiser.    I haven’t used the day cream long enough to comment on the anti-aging properties except for dryness and dullness.  The moisturiser is definitely hydrating and leaves my skin looking radiant.  I’ll be very happy if once I’ve used the product for a while I see a reduction in the appearance of my fine lines, wrinkles and age spots, and an evening out my skin tone.  But, for the present, it’s a good moisturiser and very reasonably priced.   

Olay is one of the few moisturiser brands that I have used for many years and their products always deliver pretty good results. This is a decent sized and priced moisturiser, and it provides reasonable anti-aging benefits. As someone who does have lines, age spots and uneven skin tone, this moisturiser sounded pretty promising when I initially saw it, as it claims to address multiple signs of aging in one bottle. The moisturiser comes in a very handy and easy to use packaging with a pump dispenser. The texture is thick and creamy but it’s not greasy and it absorbs well without feeling sticky or heavy. There is a pleasant fragrance and this doesn’t cause any irritation for my skin. I apply this moisturiser on a daily basis and often use the spf version during the day for added protection. This moisturiser leaves my skin feeling hydrated, soft and smooth. I don’t think it has done very much for my age spots or uneven skin tone but it does help smooth out fine lines and it’s a good all-in-one anti-aging product, if you don’t want to spend too much. I would recommend this moisturiser to anyone who wants a good product that does a decent job smoothing out fine lines and leaving your skin soft, but doesn’t cost too much either.

Wow, what an effective moisturiser, and so affordable too! I have owned many bottles of this baby over the years. While it is very similar to the much loved original fomrulation, Olay Total Effects SPF 15 contains sunscreen, making it ideal to apply before heading outdoors or underneath makeup. My skin has never looked or felt better! Designed to fight the seven signs of ageing, it seems to do just that, leaving my skin in optimal condition, never irritating and pleasing me so much I have purchased it on a few occasions. The pump packaging is convenient & perfect for keeping the product hygienic and free of bacteria. A little spreads a long way, the formula glides across the skin and blends in with ease in a matter of moments. If this product had a higher SPF rating, I would totally use it over other brands but then again sometimes a higher SPF can really make a product thick and sit on skin - you can't have it both ways I guess. All in all though, Olay Total Effects 7-in-1 SPF 15 is truly a winner!

I use this product regularly. Its a product that can be used daily, day and night. It goes into the skin well and doesnt leave the skin feeling oily or cakey. I do not know about its ability to reduce fine lines and anti aging as I have been using this product for many years now and I havent noticed a difference. It does however leave my skin feeling soft and moisturised.

My mum gave this product to me the other week as it wasn't working for her skin type. She has  very dry, dehydrated skin and I think the formula wasn't quite hydrating enough for me. However..... Ii was fine with that, because for me, I really enjoyed this moisturiser/SPF. I think it's quite a simple product, nothing fancy. There is no overpowering scent and the texture is quite lightweight on the skin. I also find it absorbs into the skin very quickly, which is often a problem I have with cheaper moisturisers as they tend to sit on the surface of the skin, but not this one! I wear makeup almost every day and I have had no problems with this disturbing my foundation or other products, or decreasing the longevity of my base. However, I do find (this may be due to the SPF) that it does make my skin slightly more glowy/shiny than usual. So, this comes down to personal preference as I have dry-normal skin so I like a bit of a glow. However, if you don't like a glow or have very oily skin I think I would give this one a miss. On a more positive note, products with quite a high SPF can sometimes look quite ashy on the skin (especially on darker skin tones) but I find this blends in really well with my natural skin tone and leaves no white residue! Overall, a simple no-fuss moisturiser all in one!

This was my mothers gold treasure, which she has been using for years, and looks exceptional for her age (48). When I hit my teens, my mother introduced it to me, and I have no regrets. Over time they have added SPF15, and the 5-in-one became 7-in-one, which has just added to a great product. SPF15 is enough in the winter, or when indoor in summer, to protect you from the sun ageing you, which is great if you are rushing in the morning. The only catch is that it can leave you a little shiny if you have oily skin, so I recommend giving it time to soak in before stepping outside. Once absorbed the shine stops.

Absolutely love this! I used this product since 2009 and it's awesome. The consistency, the smell, and everything about this feels luxurious! Most thing I like about it, is the light feeling and not greasy al all. I recommend to all, especially combination skin type it's perfect light everyday Moisturiser.

I have used this product for at least 10 years. I like it because it works! I love how consistent the moisturiser, not too runny or too thin. Easy to apply and absorbs straight away, my skin feel hydrated always. The SPF15 is a great bonus. I didn’t realise that after 10 yrs using it, now I reap the benefit where people always comments I look 10yrs younger. I am so happy with the result and I hope others will try it too. It’s really great value!

The best product for my skin and one thing i like is with SPF. Very light to apply and it really absorb on my skin. My face is not dry the whole day. I love the smell is just mild. It evens out my uneven tones, i highly recommend. It's a really good product.

I love the aging fighting benefits of this cream. I always return to this after trying others. The delivery system is great and stops the product drying. It has a light fragrance and goes into skin quickly leaving barely ant residue. I wear it under my foundation and it works well. I'm a big fan of always wearing sun screen and this has a built in SBF15 for those of us that are lazy with it. I recommend it to girls my age ( 40ish)

This is my go to moisturiser. It leaves my skin soft, hydrated and looking radiant without having to spend a fortune. The best part is it has SPF so I'm alwats protected from the sun. I've tried many high end moisterisers but I always keep coming back to this one.

I really like this product and I  have tried several others but always seem to come back to Olay it's lovely and light and the fact that it has SPF is fantastic  it doesn't feel greasy it feels great I would recommend this to others for value and effectiveness

I borrowed this from my mum a little while ago and have been buying my own ever since - I love what this does to my skin! It gives me a glow but doesn’t feel greasy and feels really nice to put on. I’ve also noticed a different in my complexion since I started using it which is the main reason I’ve continued to use it.

I accidentally stumbled upon this product when i was out shopping and i am so grateful for this serendipitous occurance.  Olay total effects has changed the way i feel about myself and my skin.  It not only has built in spf 15 but with its smooth and light application it has left my skin feeling revitalised and restored.  Many friends have commented on my new youthful appearance.  I feel like a new woman.

Great to have the SPF in my moisturiser. The cream went on well and absorbed quickly without leaving a residue, but if you are applying makeup over the moisturiser, you need to apply it quickly - the cream absorbs into my skin very fast! Great that the fragrance is almost non-existent - that's really good in a facial moisturiser. This is an effective and easy to use moisturiser, however, it hasn't had any anti-ageing effects on my skin.
