Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Moisturizing Body Oil

This is a non-greasy body oil that spreads easily over damp skin and absorbs quickly. It has the same cocoa butter fragrance as all the other Palmer's products I have used. It contains soybean, sesame and safflower oils, vitamin E and cocoa butter. It can also be used as a bath oil & is a perfect carrier for essential oils to create a relaxing & hydrating bath. I also found it to be a nice massage oil too. It is suitable for all skin types and is best applied directly after a bath or shower. My only dislike is the flip top lid as it is a thin oil that comes out very quickly. I would much prefer if it came in a dropper or pump bottle so you can better control the amount you use.

I remember this being one of the first body oils I got when I was in my teens. At the time, Palmers seemed to be the body product brand especially because the smell was almost too delicious to have on your body.  This body oil is the perfect weight, not too light and not too heavy, and sinks into the skin very fast without leaving you feeling too greasy. I  found the scent to be very typical of Palmers, that gorgeous coconut chocolate scent that I personally find so nice. Definitely a very 'summer' scent. It lingers on the skin nicely throughout the day as well.  With all oils, a little does go a long way so this bottle will last a surprising while even if you are using it on your entire body. I never found it irritated my skin and it always worked very quickly on smoothing and soothing any dry, scaley patches especially on my legs where I am prone to get them.  PROS: - cheap, good value for amount and how long it lasts - beautiful scent - very hydrating and moisturising  - doesn't leave an uncomfortable film  CONS: - scent may not be everyones preference 

Love how this product makes my skin feel so soft, hydrated and silky smooth! The smell reminds me of chocolate, and the size is perfect for going away, especially in the dry summer months. Only issue I have with it is the bottle opening—its too big and the oil literally comes pouring out! Would be great with a smaller lid/hole! Or even in pump bottle!

This is the perfect moisturiser after a day at the beach! It can be a bit messy to apply as the oil comes out quite quickly but once it’s on the skin it absorbs quickly. It is also great for using on your nails and cuticles. It has a pleasant cocoa scent which I love and does linger.

I received this from a family member and enjoyed using up an entire bottle. My skin can be on the drier side so I like to gently massage this all over my body from the neck down. My skin feels hydrated and nourished using this product right out of the shower. It smells like the Palmers signature cocoa butter scent so its an instant hit with me. I love how the scent lingers on the skin long after application. The oil is especially great for use in the winter when my skin is super dry but its lightweight enough to use year round.

I purchased Palmer's Cocoa Butter Oil in replacement to my usual Bio Oil.  It contains Cocoa butter and vitamin E, as I am prone to really dry, sensitive skin I have found this formula has definitely helped reduce my symptoms.  It comes in a clear, upright pump bottle which is easy to dispense. After showering I rub a small amount (it goes a long way) into damp skin. The package suggests you can also add it to the bath but I prefer topical application. It absorbs quickly and although it is an oil substance doesn't leave any greasy residue. It has the signature Palmer's cocoa scent so I wouldn't recommend for anyone who is averse to sweet fragrances. I am really impressed with how it leaves me with silky smooth skin and for such an extended period of time. It's great on chapped winter skin and soothes sunburns too. A stayer in my beauty routine!

I love everything about this body oil especially at an affordable price. I use this body oil every night after shower to keep my skin moisturised throughout the night as I have super dry skin all year round. I love this body oil because it doesn't feel too oily on my skin unlike other body oils that I have tried. the oil has a very pleasant smell which I'm obsessed with which makes me wanting to use the product.

I have been a long time fan of this, since I was probably around 11 years old.  I love to use this immediately after having a bath or a shower, and the smell is absolutely divine, especially if you are a chocoholic like myself. This body oil does a really great job to moisturise effectively and works instantly, although I do feel that it is a little uncomfortable to wear firm fitting clothing immediately after (it feels a little sticky, but it could be that I really slather this on because it just smells so good). For a product under $15, it certainly delivers and exceeds expectations.
