Revlon Eye Shadow Brush

I highly recommend this eye shadow brush! The packaging didn't damage the brush at all, all the bristles were perfect upon opening which was a surprise! The brush is super soft and feels very luxurious. I used this to apply base powder eye shadows and it was very easy to apply a smooth base. I'd recommend a smaller or more angled brush for more specific eye shadow applications. I travelled with this brush and another smaller brush and it was all I needed for any eye shadow look. This brush would be a staple in any makeup kit!

First impressions taking the brush out of the box was disappointing. The outer layers of the brush bristles were bent and sprayed outwards, something you would expect from a roughly used and old brush - not a brand new one. With that aside, the handle of the brush seems awkward to hold. The cylindrical shape doesn't feel as natural or sleek as other brushes on the market and it feels much heavier than a standard brush. The brush in use for blending the crease of eyeshadows was definitely successful. It was able to pick up and deposit the pigment evenly. The soft texture of the bristles also made it very beginner friendly for the shadow to be blended across the crease. This is not a brush that I would pick out against other brands. Although the brush itself does a good job at blending eyeshadow, the uncomfortable nature of having to use it makes it not worth it. There are definitely other brushes out there that give the same results whilst being more slimline and simpler to use.

Tried the eye shadow brush as a beauty crew member, was really surprised by the quality of it. It’s very affordable and a brand that it stocked in many stores. I have really sensitive eyes, had no issues using this though. Was really good for blending. Such a soft brush, feels so nice to use! Blended out eyeshadows easily, was easy to use for a beginner, remains in my makeup bag for everyday use. Good sturdy handle making it not feel cheap or tacky. Overall, would recommend the brush, enjoyed using it.

I usually prefer a smaller brush for applying eyeshadow but I got used to it after a few attempts. If it was slightly smaller I would have given it five stars.

The price of this brush is really impressive considering the quality and feel of the stem of the brush, however, the bristles are nothing impressive. The bristles are the usual plastic, dense-feeling quality you’d expect. The eyeshadow is hard to blend out with this brush due to the density of the brush and also the poor quality of the hairs but it’s not a bad start for something affordable. For someone wanting a more professional brush, this is not the place to start and I wouldn’t recommend it.

This is a nicely weighted, quality-feeling brush that is perfect for eyeshadow application. It's in-between the sizes I would usually use to apply eyeshadow - normally I would use a smaller brush to apply the product and a larger, fluffier brush to blend. Because of the shape of this brush and the taper to the bristles, I found it worked well for both purposes. I used it with both cream and powder eyeshadows, and it worked really well, great at both depositing colour and blending it in for everyday wear. I would still have a thinner brush and a fluffier brush for more precise eyeshadow looks. It has become a staple in my brush kit and I would definitely purchase this brand again.

Easy to apply on others too, but I find the handle is not the most comfortable. It is a little thicker than most brushes I use and heavier too. I'm so glad I gave this shadow brush a try, it's been perfect for my favourite makeup looks and feels really soft which makes blending easy. I like the length of the brush and is easy for me to hold as I apply my eyeshadow. It's the first time using a weighted handle and still deciding what I prefer better. I absolutely love Revlon products and over all really happy with this eye shadow brush and is a great addition to my collection and will definitely be looking at add more brushes to my makeup case.

I'm a fan of this budget friendly eyeshadow blending brush. It does a pretty good job at blending powder eyeshadow which makes doing eye looks quite effortless. I do not own cream or liquid eye shadows so I can't comment on whether this brush would work for them. I really liked the new design of the new line of brushes as they look very sleek, however I think they could've skipped the weighted handle on the eyeshadow brush as it makes it feel too heavy and unwieldy. Construction wise the brush has held up well to its first deep clean with the ferrules tightly held on and no shedding experienced so far which is a good sign. I'm not sure I see myself buying this eye brush because of the weighted handle but I would be happy to buy these to give to young friends and new makeup enthusiasts.

I have been looking for the perfect affordable brush set that doesn’t compromise on quality for a while now and I I’ve finally found it. This eye makeup brush felt super soft on the eye and blends my eyeshadow products both cream and powder super easily. I found the shape was perfect to use in my crease when I wanted to do a smokier eye look or just a solid block application it did both really well. I love that the handle was weighted like some professional brushes that I’ve tried helped me keep my hand steadier as I was trying to apply my eyeshadow. The affordable price and the super premium look and feel had me rushing out to buy the entire collection. Super happy to have found this brush do yourself a favour and try it out.

As the tagline says ... it's an eyeshadow brush. The bristles are soft on the skin and apply eyeshadow quite well, but I do have eye brushes already that I favour over this one. I didn't find this to be the best for blending eyeshadow into my crease as it was too wide and dense for my liking. It is a decent brush to get colour on the lid though but not so much for anything precise. This brush feels fairly luxe and has a little bit of weight to it which adds to that luxe feeling. The black colour does make for a sleek look, but I personally really enjoy having aesthetic makeup brush sets that are more colourful and match or have a theme. I already use other brands that I would purchase again over this brush, and I don't think I'd remember this enough to recommend it to anyone. Overall, this brush does the job and feels soft on the skin which is nice but it's nothing special to me. If you are someone who does not have any makeup brushes or hardly uses them and you only want to buy a few, this one might work for you!
