Revlon Illuminance™ Eyeshadow Palette

The Revlon Illuminance™ Eyeshadow Palette is a very buildable colour palette. One layer is very soft, but you can make it vibrant and glam by adding layers. The powder formula feels silky and glides on easily. Several shades have a light sparkle formula whilst others are matte, making it possible to use some as highlight and contour. The shades really do make this palette perfect for both beginners and experienced Makeup users - my 14-year-old was able to do a nice look with it. She only started wearing Makeup in the last couple of months, and I was a Makeup artist almost 30 years ago and have a lot of Makeup experience. There are definitely more pigmented palettes out there, but you'll be paying a premium price for that premium product. For the price point, I can give this 4 stars.

I do appreciate the small size of this eyeshadow palette by Revlon. This Revlon Illuminance Eyeshadow Palette conveniently fits into my handbag and pocket. I was hoping this palette would come with a small brush but it does not so I have to use my own brushes. I really like the sparkly more bronze eyeshadows that came in this palette. The darker ones are good but just not my favourite shades and tones. The darkest brown you only need a small amount to contour into the corners of your eyelids. I know I’m gonna have to hide this eyeshadow palette from my 18 year-old daughter. She will want to use it and probably keep it.

I was able to review this product as a trial and it is definitely something I will repurchase. The colours of the bronze palette are beautiful and worked well for me, great mix of more shimmery and matte colours for different use. The eyeshadow goes on easily with a sponge or brush and has excellent lasting power, lasted all day for me but then easily removed in the shower. The only thing I would nitpick is no applicator comes with it. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting beautiful simple colours that are also easy to use.

I recently tried this eyeshadow palette in Nude and it's gorgeous. It has 6 pigmented shades - 3 matte and 3 shimmery shades. I found they blended so seamlessly and the formula is lovely and silky. I particularly love the slim compact which doesn't take up much space at all in my makeup kit. It's the most perfect palette which can take you from day to night as the shadows stays on all day with minimal creasing. I recommend this because you can build the shades up and it's become a staple palette for me. You really only need this one.

I enjoy the Revlon Nude palette. It is a great way to day eyeshadows for work and day out with a simple look. I used immediately once I get this shadow. The matte color is quite settle and gives a complete look on the eyelid, but the shimmer eye colors are not very pigmented. I cannot get much glow or shine when I apply by brush or on finger tip. Overall it is a great travel size compact. I’m pretty happy to have this 6 set palette in my makeup collection and take it to travel. I was more keen to try more colorful shadows but this one gives me work attire options and interest on basic girl looks. I will keep using it and give more feedback and share with friends. Amazing colours in this Palette. My only dislike is that there is no applicator. I haven’t purchased an eye shadow palette for a while so I don’t know if this is standard. Great pigmentation and comes off super easy. The colours I sampled were Nude and it just gives enough colour without being overbearing I don’t wear a lot of make up so these colours suit me well. Great for both day and night use and matches any colour outfit .The eye shadow palette is smaller than I expected but perfect to carry with me in my hand bag.

This has been a fun trial! I was sent the Revlon Illuminance Eyeshadow Palette in Nude, and I feel like this particular palette is ideal for those with light to medium skin tones. This contains three matte colours and three shimmer shades, so that you can mix and match them according to your look or mood. To use this, I dab some eyeshadow primer on the lids and I go over it with one of the light matte shades, before swiping a shimmer colour over it on the inner half of the lid. Then, I place a darker shade on the outer half, before using a blending brush to get it to all come together. I love that the colours work so well together, but I don't feel like these blend together as easily as I'd like for it to. However, I do think that there's not a lot of fallout, which means it's just less messy overall, This is a good everyday palette, and I'm very pleased with how well it seems to work for me!

I honestly can't remember the last time I used a Revlon eyeshadow pallete, so I was excited to receive the Illuminance eyeshadow palette in time for a girl's night out. I received the palette in 'bronze', which was a good match for my light, cool-toned skin and blue eyes, without being too warm or golden. The palette contains two matte shades and 4 shimmers. I do wish that there were 3 of each, but it's still a great little palette which should be pretty versatile. The mattes are a mid-brown and a dark brown, so I used the lighter brown all over the lid and the deep brown along my lash line, with one of the shimmers over the lid and the lightest shimmer on my inner corner. The shadows apply nicely and blend well whilst retaining colour payoff. Only note would be that an eyeshadow primer or some kind of prep is needed for those like me who have oily lids, as I did get creasing by the end of the night.

I have been using this Revlon Illuminance™ Eyeshadow Palette for last couple of days. I really like the sleek light weight packaging. Easy to travel with. The colour story of the bronze pallet is so nice. The matts are easy to work with and not patchy you can build the shades up. The shimmers are very soft and give a nice pay off. I love how you can wear on its own for nice minimal makeup look or create a smokey eye look with darker shades in pallet. It can be easily one of those pallet that you can use everyday or create a good party makeup look. I would highly recommend it.

I was very excited to receive this palette in the post, because the colours are so pretty! I got the "Nude" set the palette has 6 difference colours, 3 matte and three shimmers. They are very pigmented and buildable. I wore them all day and I have oily hooded eye lids and they did not crease amazingly. I also really like that all of the colours are usable, you know how sometimes you just use 2-3 and just leave the others. I didn't find that the case with this palette. The only thing I would change about this palette, is the case, it's just a plastic case and will eventually break and it doesn't look overly nice.

The colors of this bronze pallet were lovely, a couple matte and some metallics, blendable, could be easily used for both night and day wear, it even has good staying power. The clear case allows you to see exactly what your getting, the size is even suitable for travel but..... There's nothing that really makes it stand out. The selection of colors could be found in a dozen other pallets. It doesn't come with any kind of applicator or mirror. I want something new, something memorable. This was a lovely pallet but would I go out of my way to buy it, probably not. Would I recommend it to a friend, not likely. Back to the drawing board Revlon, bring us something memorable :)

I have received the Revlon illuminance eyeshadow palette in Bronze. The palette size is generous yet compact making it ideal for your make up bag, on the go and travel. The colours are all beautiful and a palette colour that would suit most people. If you’re after a bronze every day look this works perfectly, using the lighter colours to highlight and illuminate and the mid tones add more definition then use the darker shades to build the product up for a more glam or night time look. The texture and consistency of the eyeshadow glides on easily and blends smoothly. This will be a staple in my make up bag with colours that don’t go out of style and perfect for my up and coming trip to Europe for summer.
