The only other plumping lip gloss I have ever used is probably the most famous one from a premium brand so I was excited to trail this one from Revlon. I found the colour pay off really nice, I don't wear a lot of colour on my lips and I found this to provide the perfect amount for me. The formula is nice and goes on smoothly. I just found it didn't 'plump' as much as I would have liked. It definitely felt like it was working but the results didn't quite live up to expectations. Overall its a nice lip gloss that just fell a little short on the plumping aspect.

I was really excited to try this plumping hydrating gloss as I already have tried few Korean brands on similar promises, therefore, I wanted to compare them. I like the small cute packaging and the applicator. The gloss looks nice in one application on my lips. The tingling sensation was really mild compared to the Korean ones, therefore, I guess the plumping effects were not significant enough on my lips either. The hydration was good and felt like a lip balm for a while, non sticky on my lips. Overall, I like it as a glorified lipbalm. If you are looking for plumbing effects, go for Korean brands.

The Revlon PhotoReady Instant Plump Serum Gloss is great on shine and colour, with a beautifully pigmented shade that looked really flattering on my lips (definitely MLBB). It feels lightweight and isn’t sticky at all, which I loved, and it gives a very glossy finish. There is a noticeable plumping effect, but only slightly (nowhere near filler levels). The tingling sensation is there but very bearable. Unfortunately, the minty smell is very strong and quite off putting, which ruined the experience for me. Because of that, I wouldn’t repurchase.

I received this as a sample and was genuinely impressed. It smells really good, is not sticky at all, and makes my lips feel soft and nicely tinted. A little goes a long way, so you really do not need much product each time. The effect is almost instant. The moment you put it on, within 1 to 2 seconds, there is a very intense tingling sensation, so you can definitely feel it working. Not long after, my lips looked noticeably plumper and fuller. It also stays on for quite a long time compared to other glosses I have tried. Overall, very effective and actually does what it claims. Great if you want a gloss that feels comfortable, gives a nice tint, and delivers a visible plumping effect

Colour is nice and it plumps up my lips well and stings alot, so I'm not sure I could leave it on all night, have tried it out and left it on for about half an hour and needed to take it off. It would be a good plump before go out and then use another lipstick instead. It's a cute little bottle that can take with you when travelling if needed to reapply throughout the night in a small handbag. Probably wouldn't buy though as I'm not a fan of the sting. Not a bad price but would recommend to someone that wears gloss or lipstick often and can handle it but would have to come with a warning for sure.

It's a lovely color, somewhere between and pink and sheer nude (Shade Magically Inflated 003). The gloss goes on smooth with a pleasant tingling sensation - the shape of the applicator makes it easy to apply with accuracy. Gives a glossy shine without being sticky and stays this way for a while. While my lips appear hydrated, I'm not 100% sure that they looked any plumper - perhaps my expectations were very high. Perhaps due to my dry lips, I found that after time, the gloss dried down tacky and flakey.

If you’re looking for a fuller pout and favour gloss over lipstick, this might be one for you to try. I tried this product as part of a review for 3 days. The colour is perfect. I actually tried it on my hand first and wasn’t sure but once it was on my lips the colour blended in and created a beautiful blush pink. Perfect for everyday. The gloss has a sharp burning/heating sensation that goes for about 5 minutes, but this is what activates the lips. I don’t feel it extremely “plumped” my lip but it did reduce fine lines and puff up slightly to create a dewy pout. The smell of the gloss is nice - like a spearmint smell - and the gloss is sticky but it grabs and stays on the lip for a bit. It has a nice sheen. My partner said it made him want to kiss my lips so something seems to be working!

I love this lip gloss! From the outset the packaging is gorgeous, easy to navigate and leak proof - something I do not take for granted anymore with some past bad leaky experiences! On application, you feel a light tingly, buzzy sensation - like a warm cup of coffee for your lips! It goes on super smooth - more like a hydrating lip serum than a sticky gloss and the plumping part is really gentle. You get a tiny bit of that tingle, but nothing dramatic. It just makes your lips look a little fuller and smoother. It looks amazing on its own but also works over lip liner without getting clumpy. The only downside is it doesn’t last all day, so you will be reapplying, but it’s comfy enough that I didn’t mind.

I love a good lip gloss so I was excited to try the Revlon photo ready instant plump serum lip gloss. There were a few things that i really liked about this one and a few not so much. To start with the things that I liked about this product; the colour was really lovely; for a gloss it was fairly pigmented and gave the lips a nice colour pop. The gloss felt nice on the lips, not too thick but really smooth and glossy. The smell of the product is a menthol smell which explains the hot cold tingling sensation. Now the things I didn’t like so much about the product. Mainly the burning sensation when applied. It does feel like a tingling / burning sensation which lasts maybe 10-15 minutes. I did get used to this but I probably would prefer putting on a normal gloss without the burning, as I didn’t see too much of a difference plumping wise. I feel as though you can get the same plumping effect with a normal gloss and liner. So overall it is nice but not my favourite….

I had high hopes for this lip gloss, but unfortunately it fell short of its promises. The “instant plump” claim is where things really fall apart — despite the dramatic tingling sensation, my lips looked virtually the same before and after application. If anything, the intense tingling felt more like irritation than a sign that something was actually working. Speaking of that tingle — it’s a lot. For anyone sensitive to that kind of sensation, this gloss borders on uncomfortable. I don’t mind a mild plumping tingle, but this one overstays its welcome without delivering the payoff to justify it. On the plus side, the gloss itself has a nice shine and applies smoothly, so it’s not a total loss. But as a plumping serum gloss? It simply doesn’t deliver. If you’re after real lip-plumping results, I’d look elsewhere. This one is all sensation and no substance.

I’m not usually a user of this type of product, however I decided to give it a go and in was pleasantly surprised! When first applied, there was a slight tingling effect that lasted about 10 minutes and following this, there was an obvious plump to my lips. It was subtle which is what I want but enough to notice a difference. The gloss has a great shine to it that lasted quite a while. I loved the doe foot applicator- it helped with an even and smooth application. I wouldn’t recommend using this alone if you want a good colour on your lips, I would recommend to pair it with a little lip liner.

Initial impression was that the tube packaging was sleek and would be easy to stash in your pocket or purse. The colour of tube was also cute. Upon opening the tube there was an instant menthol but also mixed with an artificial and chemical like scent, which unfortunately wasn’t pleasant (and I love peppermint scents!). This wasn’t apparent to family members smelling directly from my lips thankfully. Application was super easy and I did love the colour upon initial application. Unfortunately this seemed to change once the ‘plumping’ action kicked in and my lips apparently looked like they were turning a purple hue. I did feel an instant warmth and quickly to a burning sensation which I expected for a plumping lip product and it did dissipate in a reasonable amount of time. Unfortunately a plumping effect wasn’t obvious to myself or my family, though I have naturally full lips so it possibly wasn’t significant enough to notice. I personally wouldn’t purchase this as a plumping product, but would love just as a gloss in this colour.

Excited to trial this product. Cute little package, easy size to carry in any handbag or pocket. Colour is vibrant and perfect for summer nights out. Applied the product and within 20 seconds could feel heat in my lips. Not burning, just uncomfortable heat. It lasted about 2 minutes then faded off. Lips did not visibly plump and coverage did not last long unfortunately. Gloss faded to a sticky layer instead of a beautuful shine. Unfortunately for me, Revlon PhotoReady™ Instant Plump Serum Gloss fell short of its promise.

I have been using this Revlon PhotoReady™ Instant Plump Serum Gloss for some time now. The size and shape of the gloss tube is quite good, convenient to carry around. I like the consistency of the gloss, it’s very lightweight and doesn’t feel heavy on the lips. The applicator is really nice. It gives a comfy and smooth application. The gloss itself is quite pigmented and settles down beautifully on the lips. It has this blurring effect and plumping effect. It’s not too much but it does plump up the lips a bit up. I feel this heat and tingling sensation which is normal with plumping lip glosses. I found the tingling okay, it wasn’t too strong. But the issue I have had is that the area around my lips becomes red due to this tingling, which takes about 10 minutes to subside. So this means that I can’t apply this gloss and go out immediately and of course touch-ups on the go are also not possible. I don’t know if somebody else has also faced this or could be just me…. But otherwise, it’s a really nice plumping gloss.

It’s a while since I’ve used a plumping lip product, but as I’ve just reached my 40s I’ve noticed a loss in volume in my lips, so it was good timing to discover Revlon’s plumping gloss. You do feel the tingle applying the product, but it didn’t bother me, if anything it’s like a pleasant buzz and doesn’t last too long. The gloss is really smooth to apply and not sticky. I seem to recall other plumping products being drying but that’s not the case with this gloss. It lasts well and wears off evenly. I really liked the colour and definition and received compliments when wearing it, which we love! It seems high end brands just get more and more expensive when it comes to lip products so it’s great to discover a ‘drugstore’ brand lippie that stands up against luxury brands. Overall I was impressed and will put this into my regular lip rotation.

This gloss does what it says. It plumps and you feel it. It doesn't burn and feel like you are on fire hut you can definitely feel the plumping. The gloss is quite opaque so you see the colour of the gloss very well. It is quite long lasting on the lips however as most lip glosses, it wears off during eating and drinking. It has a minty scent to it and you feel a cooling effect along with the plumping. Personally the colour I got was a bit on the warm side so it wasn't my cup of tea but the gloss itself is very thick and doesn't stick you lip together at all. Definitely a great option for someone looking for a plumping gloss with good colour. I would avoid giving these to younger children and teens due to the plumping effect.
