Revlon PhotoReady™ Instant Plump Serum Gloss

I really enjoyed using this lip gloss and especially loved the unique tingle/spicy feeling. I know this won’t be for everyone, so I would be hesitant to recommend it to someone who doesn’t usually enjoy plumping lip glosses. But if you’re comfortable with that tingling sensation and want fuller-looking lips, I would definitely recommend giving it a try. The shine was really nice, and it was not too sticky, which I loved because some lip glosses can be quite tacky. My only downside was that I didn’t find it as long-lasting as some other glosses I have tried, so I did need to reapply it regularly. If you are into lip gloss, plumping products, or that spicy/tingly lip gloss feeling, I would definitely recommend giving this one a try. I also really liked that it had a hydrating element, which not all lip glosses provide!

I've been loving this lip gloss — the colour is honestly stunning. It's one of those shades that just looks effortlessly beautiful and flattering, perfect for both everyday wear and a night out. I've struggled to find a gloss in this exact shade before, so I was really happy with how it looked on me. The application is also really smooth and even. It glides on nicely without feeling sticky or clumpy, and the formula feels lightweight and comfortable rather than heavy or tacky, which is always a bonus. The plumping sensation is very strong though — probably the most intense I've experienced in a lip gloss. It definitely caught me off guard and made me quite uncomfortable for the first few minutes. There's also a noticeable spicy smell to it, which I'm personally not a huge fan of and I think adds to that overall intensity. I couldn't really see a major visible difference from the plumping either, so the sensation feels a lot more dramatic than the actual result. That said, the colour is so gorgeous that it honestly doesn't bother me enough to stop using it — I'd wear this gloss for the shade alone.

I really enjoyed the shade of this lipgloss and how shiny it made my lips look without it being sticky. The glossy look made my lips look amazing and was the perfect compliment to the rest of my makeup looks. The plumping effect was nice, although the tingling effect was a bit intense for me as someone who often has cracked lips. I probably wouldn’t reach for this multiple times a day because of that. Overall, this product is pretty good and would be suitable for people who enjoy a plumping and tingling lip gloss. If you are particularly sensitive to the menthol tingling this product might not be for you. I would be inclined to try other shades or other lip gloss products from Revlon because the quality and colour choices are great

So the colour is GORG!!! Like the one I’m seeing all over tiktok with brown lip liner!! She is super glossy and not a weird sticky texture like other glosses which is so slay but it is a different type of spicy than other lip plumpers, like hotish and you can taste the spice?? Like I was kinda thinking does this have cayenne pepper in here?? To be fair, I haven’t used a plumper in a while so maybe I’m unseasoned and out of experience but it was not like I remembered. So anyway be careful if you don't like spicy food or maybe just don't lick your lips like I probably was but prepare for the burn but also it is totally worth it!!

I really liked the compact packaging and had the clear shade. The gloss feels sticky but smooth and hydrating without feeling too thick or claggy, and there’s no noticeable scent. It definitely gave my lips that tingly, plumped feeling and I felt like they looked fuller and noticeably more pink. The shine is also really nice! The only downside for me was that the tingling was a little intense, so I don’t think I’d use it multiple times throughout the day. But for going out or before an event when I want my lips to look a little fuller and extra glossy, I’d definitely reach for it. I’d recommend giving it a try, and I’d be interested in trying one of the coloured versions too.

I tried this for 4 weeks and have actually really enjoyed using it. The colour was probably my favourite thing, it suited my fair skin really well and gave my lips a nice bit of colour without being too much. You definitely get that tingly feeling when you first put it on, but I actually quite liked that as it makes you feel like it’s doing something 😂 My lips are naturally on the skinnier side and I feel like they’ve definitely got less plump with age, so I really liked the fuller look this gave. It’s not a crazy dramatic difference, but enough to notice, especially when I compared it to how my lips normally look. I also liked that it didn’t feel super sticky like some glosses can, and I found myself reaching for it quite a bit. Definitely one I’d keep using.

She is a spicy gal! I loved the colour, texture and lasting qualities of this lipgloss but wholy cow the spice is a bit too much. I'm well versed with a plumping lip product so I am used to the tingling sensations they can bring. This gloss however, is next level tingle to the point that I was tempted to wipe it off because I thought I must be having an adverse reaction. I did use it a few times, however, I won't be keeping it in my rotation because it concerns me how much it tingles. It's such a shame as I love a plumping product and every other aspect of the gloss I love.

I was chosen to review the Revlon PhotoReady Instant Plump Serum Gloss and was so excited to give it a go however, I was quite disappointed with this product. As a lip gloss, it's fine, good even... however, as a plumping serum, it did nothing. I experienced the light tingling sensation on my lips after application but noticed no visible difference to the plumpness of my lips. I tried it multiple times over the trial period and would even put multiple layers on my lips without any noticeable difference. I will however continue to use it as just a lip gloss but if I want a product to assist with plumping, I will definitely be grabbing something else.

When I first put this on I was surprised with the amount of tingling I felt - it was quite intense! However, it subsided pretty quickly and left me with nice plump lips with a lovely colour. It wasn't sticky which I was surprised about and I love the colour and finish it gives. I used both by itself and with a lip liner and both have really nice results. Would recommend but be prepared for the tingle especially when using for the first time! I'm keen to also try the other colours in the range.

I've enjoyed the Revlon PhotoReady Instant Plump Serum Gloss overall. It gives a lovely glossy finish, makes lips look fuller, and feels hydrating without being overly sticky. The shine lasts well, and it works nicely on its own and layered over lipstick. One thing to be aware of is that the plumping effect comes with quite a noticeable tingling sensation. If you're used to plumping glosses, it may not bother you, but I found it tingled quite a bit more than I expected, especially having used others in the past. My only other criticism is the price. While the product performs well, it feels slightly expensive for a Revlon product. That said, it is a great colour, a great product and definitely worth trying!

When I first applied this product, I felt the burning/tingling sensations was extremely intense, and I didn't love the feeling, although it did subside after a few minutes. I tried it again later, and the second application felt a lot more comfortable, so maybe it's something you get used to (I haven't used a lot of plumping serums). The colour was beautiful, and went on perfectly smooth - the shape of the applicator makes the product easy to apply accurately, and it gives a beautiful shine. I did not find t he product very sticky considering the shine it gives, so that is a huge bonus for me! There was definitely an obvious plump to my lips, although I found I had to reapply quite frequently throughout the night. Overall I think it's a great product if you can get through the initial heat!

This is my new go to! I’m usually not a fan of plumping lip glosses due to the uncomfortable feeling however this was subtle and also smelt nice! Didn’t feel painful and just gave my lips a fuller look without any effort. I used the lip gloss with a lip liner to give it a bit more depth and my lips looked super juicy! I like that it is also a brand that can be affordable and sold at places where prices could be reduced and on special so once it runs out, it won’t hurt the bank account too much. I’m not sure how long the plump lasts for but I did notice it dried my lips out a little bit, so I suggest putting on a lip balm on first to hydrate and then apply the lip gloss plump. I already have quite full lips so it gave it just enough of a fuller look.

This is my first plumping product I ever used. Firstly I did not think about the burning sensation Oof that was a shock first time. But yes this definitely give plump lips and beautiful pigmented shades. Non sticky and gives a healthy shine on the lips. The burning/cooling sensation can last for quite a few Minutes so keep that in mind but if your an experienced lip plump products person then your experience might be different from me. If your looking for a plumping pigmented gloss then definitely try this.

I was chosen to review Revlon PhotoReady Instant Plum Serum Gloss and chose Spice Show, Sadly I have nothing positive to say regarding my trial, I found the tingling of what was supposed to be (I imagine) the plumping of which was sadly not evident and found it an unpleasant experience, the tingling seemed to remain for quite some time but there was definitely no plumping. The colour was nice but due to the unpleasant tingling I could only use a small amount which was more like a lip stain than a lip gloss. I have quite a few plumping lip glosses, some on the less expensive end and others a little more pricey, the cost of this one even at $29.00 is not one I could justify

I tried the shade Spiceshow, which is a beautiful dark purple shade. I think it would be especially nice for autumn and is a great option when you want something deeper and more noticeable than a typical gloss. Upon application, it has a slightly tingly sensation to give a noticeable plumping effect. The tingling is strongest at first but settles down after a little while, and I found it quite comfortable to wear. The gloss gives a nice shiny finish and makes the lips look fuller. The shine is gorgeous on its own or layered over lip liner or lipstick. However, it needs reapplication after a few hours, particularly after eating/drinking. Overall, a nice gloss for occasional wear.

The packaging on this was cute and I did notice a plumping effect. You can definitely feel it on your lips when you apply but it’s not too intense or painful, just enough to know it’s working. It did have a very strong mint fragrance though, which I could even smell when the product was closed! So just be aware of that if fragrance isn’t your thing. Colours on offer are cute and definitely subtle. I would love to try some different ones too - I had the clear one. The product feels like a gloss but has a plumping effect - best of both worlds.

I really like the texture and finish of this lip gloss. It has a slight tingling sensation when you first apply it, but it isn’t uncomfortable. The formula is lightweight and smooth, with a thinner consistency that doesn’t feel overly sticky on the lips. It also lasts surprisingly well throughout the day. The one downside for me is the scent. When I recieved this gloss it seemed to have a stringy smokey/musty smell. Once I have applied it, the scent seems to disspate after a while, but I can still smell it a little. Overall, I really enjoy this gloss and would definitely recommend it if you’re looking for something comfortable, shiny and long-lasting.

What a great lip plumper. My lips had become thinner with age and I was looking for a product that would plump and hydrate and this revlon photoready plumping gloss is great. I love the nice pop of colour, it’s a really good price, quite economical and really does the trick. It has a slight tingly feel when applied which is not at all uncomfortable and after applying it my lips look smoother and plumper and more youthful, it’s really flattering. It contains hyaluronic acid and didn’t irritate my lips at all. I love revlon lip products and overall this was a real winner for me
