Rimmel London Extra 3D Lash

The brush on this mascara is quite tough and hurts a little bit to use. The bristles are short and pointy which I found irritated my eyes. However, the formula is pretty good at sticking on eyelashes for a bit of colour. I didn't think there was much length or volume in the mascara, probably would not buy again.

I bought this on a whim when Priceline had a $10 special on Rimmel mascaras and I’m really impressed with it. Gives great bold colour and dimension to the lashes and is never clumpy!   The brush comprises short plastic bristles spaced out along a very thing wand. I think that this helps to stop clumping and gives quite an even application. When I use this mascara, I find that my eyes look more elongated as the eyelashes tend to sweep outwards, but don’t extend as far upwards as I’d like. However, this product gives a very naturally lifted look, rather than a dramatic one which isn’t necessarily a bad thing for everyday use.   I used this mascara almost every day over summer as it produces a more low-key rather than glam look, which I prefer during the warmer months. So if it’s a natural tint and lift you’re looking for, give this a try.
