Rimmel London ScandalEyes XX-Treme

Loved this mascara on all counts, but it has been discontinued. I emailed Rimmel and they just said they had made the decision to discontinue it as it was not a good seller, which I just don't understand. I found it a great mascara!

Great mascara for length and volume without clumping on the lashes. The end of the wand sometimes has clumps of product on it so wiping off the chunks before applying it is a must. It doesn't irritate and is easy to use. The wand is curved which makes it confusing which side to use but either works well.

Rimmel London make great products, they keep up with fashion trends in make-up for the budget conscious. I always have a cheaper mascara and a more expensive mascara on the go.  I have been using Rimmel London ScandalEyes XX-Treme for a few months now. I love how chubby the mascara is and its bright red outer casing is easy to pick up in my make-up draw or bag. It's east to screw off and get the wand. I can even do it one-handed, which I like to do if I'm on the go.  The mascara wand is chubby and the brush is very thick hence the XX-Treme in the title. I really liked curly lashes and this did distribute the right amount of mascara but I like a bit more curl in my mascara.  If used with an eye curler it's fine, although it doesn't last all day only part of the day. Still it's a great mascara for under $20 and even better when you get it under $12!   I would re-purchase it again when using an eye curler or when I have my eyelashes permed. 

I've been using this mascara for the last month or so and am in love! I'm typically not a fan of Rimmel mascaras as they do nothing for me but this is awesome! Adds volume, lengthens and is super black. The only negative is the wand has too much mascara on it, so the key is to wipe off the excess before applying it to your lashes. This mascara is also buildable and easy to remove.
