This is just a really nice, affordable eyeliner pencil that I have been using since I started wearing eyeliner. The black is nice and pigmented and does a good job at lining your waterline as well. It is a good, soft Kohl eyeliner that is creamy and easy to use. Really good product, highly recommend.
I have the brown shade, I originally bought this hoping it had a twist bottom, this does not so I was quite disappointed with that. It glides on quite easily and provides a smokey smudgy look for every day wear that I was looking for. An overall pretty good product.
I have repurchased this a few times. I wondered if Rimmel has changed the formula though, as the last one I bought seemed to transfer easily compared to the ones I bought in the past. I used to be able to do tightlining with it without having it strayed allover my eyes. Not anymore. It's giving me "stray, stray, baby" racoon eyes in less time than I could sing a Christmas carol. It still is a soft kajal pencil with a good pigment. Due to its transferability nowadays I rarely use it, only on days when I'm only out of the house for a couple of hours. Please bring back the old formula!
This is such a well priced, but hard working pencil eyeliner. It is easy to use because it glides on with no effort at all and the staying power is long lasting. Towards the end of the day, there is no smudge and the liner still stays put. It is also easy to create a winged look or to apply to my water line. I use this liner even when I'm in a hurry and it only takes me a few minutes to apply perfect long lasting liner to my eyes. It gives me creamy dreamy results without flaking of running or irritating. It is not waterproof, which makes this eye liner perfect for daily use with easy removal. I recommend this eye liner as a basic every day eyeliner to have which works and doesn't smudge or transfer onto my lids. I have repurchased regularly.
The Rimmel London Soft Kohl Kajal Eye Liner Pencil is a really nice eyeliner for the price, it is very pigmented so you don't have to use a large amount of pressure to get lots of pigment out of it, it is also good for putting it on the waterline, although it is not waterproof, it still lasts a decent amount of time on the waterline and doesn't irritate my eyes (which can be quite sensitive). This eyeliner is also a deep black colour compared to some other brands where the black colour is more of a charcoal or grey colour.
The great selling point of this is definitely the price and it's a good choice of eyeliner for those starting out.  When I first opened it I noticed it had a strange acrid smell but it wasn't extremely noticeable.   Although I really wanted to love this eyeliner I just couldn't due to the transferring and smudging of it, giving me panda eyes in an hour even with primer!  However the product glides on and has a creamy formula.  It's safe for use on the waterline but when I tried it, it just ended up smudging around my eyes - a similar story to my cat eye.  Unfortunately it's not waterproof either so the weak point is the staying power but this is compensated by the price, formula and simplicity of it. I'd recommend this for beginner's as it is a good product, but is just not good for me.
The best eye liner I've used so far! Love that it glides on so easily and looks fantastic. Does a wonderful job and has good coverage for its color. This is definitely a great buy since it's affordable. I'm going back for more tomorrow!
When I am looking for an eye pencil to use, I like it to have several things.  First, I want it to be highly pigmented. Nothing is worse than using an eye pencil and finding the colour being so faint you have to keep pressing on it to get any colour out of it.  Plus, the pressure of the pencil ends up hurting your eyes which is never a great feeling.  Second,  I like the formula to be creamy.  Something that is soft enough to glide onto my eyes easily. Whether it just be a thick winged eye or for creating a blendable, smokey look.  Third, I want the eye pencil to last awhile. What's the point of wearing eyeliner if it doesn't last long enough? This eyeliner ticks all of those boxes for me. It helps me achieve the look I want and lasts for hours on end.  I even use it on the outer corner of my water line to make my eyes look larger.  The price is also super affordable and in my opinion works better than most of the high end brands I've used!
