Skinstitut Moisture Defence – Oily Skin is a light, mattifying daily moisturiser to hydrate and balance oily or acne-prone skin. Provides superb antioxidant protection to guard cells against oxidative damage. Anti-inflammatory Vitamin B5 nurtures and fortifies skin barrier while balancing excess oil. Mattifying formula minimises shine, making it ideal for combination skin. A potent Zinc Complex delivers anti-inflammatory properties while Papaya Enzymes gently exfoliate to clear the skin and prevent congestion. Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) hydrates and protects, minimising and tightening pores, and balancing skin tone. In the morning, apply a pea-sized amount to cleansed face, neck and décolletage. Follow with Age Defence SPF 50+. At night, apply a pea-sized amount to the same areas as the final step in your regime.

reduces acne and combats oiliness

As a healthcare worker required to wear PPE all day, my face suffers a lot! I have acne prone skin and get super oily at work. I love anything with Niacinimide, as it is one of my favourite skin care ingredients. This moisturiser is a nice consistency, very lightweight, not a heavy cream and does absorb into the skin very fast however when it’s completely absorbed it leaves a tacky feeling. I always put sunscreen on top which eliminates the tackiness. I’ve noticed a slight difference in my skin. I’m not breaking out as much, my current acne is starting to heal nicely and my skin isn’t as oily. It’s still early stages so I’m excited to see what happens. Other than that, I really like this moisture but wish it’d come in a bigger size as it gets used up really quickly, especially if you’re using it everyday.
