Tom Ford Metallique

Hard to rate a perfume. But here we go... This is newest addition to TF perfume line. My last love was Lost Cherry and all time fave!  The Metallique is from regular line so it is more affordable. This perfume is not for everyone, It is an odd combo. Avantgarde and out there, experimental and new age. You get sharpness, coolness and iciness of the ozone aka "aldehydes", burning sharpness...then contrasted at the same time (no waiting for openings, they both enter all at once!) with softness, sweetness and warmth of pure vanilla. Say what!? And how to work with that? Well somehow TF people pulled this off and poured it into a sleek,  metallic (again) new age, modernistic, display piece , bottle. Perhaps this is how woodsy undertones and  vanilla accents of forests filled with orchids  would smell in space? All so wild. The scent stays on for days. I mean I do shower, that is on clothing and materials other than washed skin. I sprayed it into the hair....ooo nooo....too much. Less is more.  You must try this in store before buying. Very odd combo.  I love strange and daring...so went for it and wear it when my outfit of the day an feel overall is daring and original, but yet sleek and elegant. Think: Sci-fi with tough of softness and cheekiness.
