Vichy Liftactiv Collagen Specialist 16 Day Cream

It was great that the night and day packaging were coloured differently (darker for night) because in the rush and tiredness of both morning and night routines and being short-sighted, I do not want to be grabbing with my slippery hands to my face to read which cream is which. I did find the jar shape little annoying personally though, as it didn't have a true flat bottom; it was rounded at the edges. The day cream is quite siliconey in the jar (it is the 3rd listed ingredient) and a light floral scent. The silicones help a soft blurring visual effect on the face. However, being so high in silicone it unfortunately caused major pilling, with my other skincare and even with the serum from the same range. It made them pretty much impossible to use with base make-up. It was sufficient hydration most of the time for me, which can be challenge for my dehydrated skin. Unfortunately something in this range also caused more breakouts on my face. After 4 weeks of continuous use, it's really hard to say what anti-ageing and firming improvements I've noticed, which is disappointing for a premium priced brand. It may need more time.

Vichy liftactiv collagen specialist 16 day cream I am so happy I came across this beautiful range. Being a dry skin girlie winter skin is always an issue but I liked this day cream for several reasons first being it is packed with collagen. It is very Hydrating. It feels very luxurious on skin it honestly gives you glass skin effect with using heaps of products it absorbs into the skin and not sticky at all. It really made my skin so much better than before. I can see my skin looking fresh and hydrated. Highly recommend

I thought it was appropriate that I should be reviewing the VICHY Liftacttive Collagen Specialist 16 Day Cream as I’m a seventy year old and definitely have ageing skin. It’s with great enthusiasm that I look forward to using this product , that is professionally presented in its red glossy box and unique bottle. My morning routine after a shower was firstly to apply the VICHY bonding serum to my clean face and then after a while use the day cream. The light weight cream with a mild scent spread evenly and was absorbed quickly, leaving no oily or sticky feeling. The cream has a nice texture and is light weight and smooth. A little goes a long way. I felt my skin looked and felt smoother and firmer and plump, healthy and hydrated without looking like I have applied moisturiser. Natural might be the word I’m looking for.Because the cream doesn’t have that sticky feeling more a dry type feeling, so when you apply makeup you don’t feel like you have heaps of layers on. The day cream helps to boost collagen which gives your skin that firmer and more radiant look and targets 16 signs of ageing with its technology . Yes I definitely would recommend the VICHY day cream especially for ageing woman, I’m happy with the over all result.
