Weleda Skin Food Super Serum

I've been using the Weleda Skin Food Super Serum for a few weeks now and it such a lovely light formula. After one application my skin just drew in the serum and it felt instantly moisturised and softer. I am not a fan of the scent but the results are fantastic. I love that it is made from 100% natural plant extracts and is a vegan product. I use this first on cleansed skin and then use a day cream and night cream. It comes in a dropper and you don't need to use much to cover you face. It definitely has made a difference.

This has genuinely become my new favourite beauty product. It is like liquid gold in a bottle. You would never think this was a natural vegan serum because it feels so luxurious and performs just as well as high end skincare. From the very first use I noticed how hydrated, plump and glowy my skin looked. It brightens beautifully and gives that healthy, fresh faced look without any effort. What surprised me the most was how similar it felt to using a luxury AHA product. It works like an instant liquid exfoliator but without any dryness or irritation. My skin has never felt so smooth and so hydrated at the same time. It is such a rare combination and it made every evening feel like a mini spa treatment. I had absolutely no reaction or sensitivity while using this serum. It absorbs quickly and the scent is divine, just like the classic Weleda Skin Food scent that so many people love. My face looked calm, glowing and perfectly nourished after each use. Overall I absolutely loved this serum. It is effective, gentle and beautiful to use, and it has definitely earned its spot as a five star product in my bathroom cabinet.

Just one dropper goes a long way, leaving skin soft, hydrated and glowing without feeling heavy. The only downside, the fragrance is quite strong and can be overpowering, lingering long after application. If you’re sensitive to scent, this may be a drawback, but if you love a herbal aroma, the performance and texture make it a lovely addition to a routine.

I have never used Weleda products but have been recently hearing heaps about it. Boy was I happily surprised, the Super Serum is surprising hydrating. Normally the plant-based hydration is often disappointing but not this product. My skin is well moisturised and gets a very pleasant glow without the heaviness making it perfect for my dry sensitive skin. It has a pleasant scent and goes on super smoothly. I put it on with using my fingers and then use the remaining product on my neck. This will definitely be on my hydrating list of products!

I am 52 with normal to dry skin. I have always been a fan of the Skin Food range but even the light version of their cream felt too heavy for my face. I was so excited to try a serum with the same amazing scent and benefits. I don’t pretend to understand what the Skin Food Phyto Infusion is exactly, but it contains extracts of pansy, calendula, chamomile and rosemary, and I adore the herbal scent. In addition, the serum contains jojoba oil, sunflower oil, vitamin E and a host of other beneficial ingredients including hyaluronic acid. It comes in a green glass bottle with a dropper top, and it’s a very pretty addition to my bathroom counter. The serum itself is a creamy-coloured liquid, being a serum it is thin and absorbs easily and quickly into the skin. I use a full dropper of it every night and I love it. I apply it to my face and neck, and my skin instantly feels hydrated and soft. It’s such a lovely product on its own that I don’t usually apply a moisturiser over the top, my skin feels comfortable and moisturised enough with the serum alone. The gorgeous scent makes for a very soothing bedtime routine, and I feel like my skin has a glow to it when I get up in the morning. . I will continue to repurchase this serum, it’s so luxurious to use, makes my skin feel lovely, and smells beautiful,

This serum does appear to work, my skin felt nicer, smoother and well hydrated after regular use. It's not aggressive on your skin. It has an droplet applicator which I love because it's a very hygienic method of application and also a mess free one. The one thing I struggled with was the fragrance - I don't know what it was exactly but I didn't enjoy it. I am extremely sensitive with smells, I didn't react in any way other that it's a scent I didn't enjoy unfortunately. I probably wouldn't use it again due to this, but again, I found the product itself works, but so do others that I find the scent more appealing.

I’ve been using the Weleda Skin Food Super Serum as a substitute for hyaluronic acid, and I really like it. The serum is white and has a rich, nourishing texture. It contains additional ingredients like ceramides and Skin Food Phyto Infusion, which makes my skin feel hydrated and healthy. I find it absorbs well and leaves my skin soft without feeling sticky. It’s a great natural option if you want a serum that moisturises, strengthens the skin barrier, and provides extra care beyond typical hyaluronic acid.

This serum from Weleda features plant oils and extracts. It is water-based but with the addition of the plant oils, it's a milky emulsion that has moisturising properties. It has quite a strong fragrance that is a similar scent to their classic Skin Food moisturiser. It doesn't absorb too quickly but I think that's the whole point, since it's meant to be moisturising. Being a natural product, it doesn't really feature any active ingredients, but it still had a place in my current routine when layered after another water-based serum that is difficult to pair with anything else, such as an acid serum, or after tretinoin. I agree with the marketing claims that it provides immediate moisture and a slight glow. It's very pleasant to use. However, I don't really think it's something I would repurchase, because a good moisturiser does the same thing.

This serum is definitely going to be a repurchase for me. I used this every morning for a couple of weeks, and every day, without failure, my skin felt so hydrated and refreshed after putting it on. I usually wake up with dry skin, especially during the winter, and I would apply this serum after washing my face. This serum kept my skin hydrated and looking glowy all day, either on its own or under my makeup. I have nothing bad to say about this product. The packaging is great and makes it really easy to apply the serum without any mess. The bottle is small and easy to take with you when you are travelling. Overall, i love this product and would recommend it to anyone looking for hydrated, glowy skin.

Love this serum. It’s made from 100% natural plant extracts and contains hyaluronic acid which gives my skin a youthful glow. It’s really economical so it’s great value for money and delivers really good results. I love the hygienic dropper applicator and I love that it’s light to wear and non greasy, it sinks straight into skin and is super hydrating for my skin. This is a great anti ageing product that helps to ward off fine lines and it leaves my skin looking less tired.
