COVERGIRL LashBlast Fusion Mascara

This is a good quality mascara at a great price. I enjoy the lashblast range from covergirl, each product has something different to offer. This one provides heaps of volume and thickens lashes from root to tip. It lengthens lashes to make them look big and dramatic. The shade Very Black is indeed very black.. it makes my lashes look incredibly dark and beautiful. 

I use this mascara everyday and have since I was 16 in the dark brown waterproof shade. It supplies a very natural look perfect for a "no makeup" day. When they say waterproof they mean waterproof, it does not come off during workouts, swimming or everyday wear (this is what I would recommend the mascara for) but this does mean you will need a heavy duty makeup remover to get this stuff off. In saying this it does not feel heavy or crusty whilst on your lashes and almost never clumps. If you are after a voluminous and lengthening mascara I would not recommend this, similarly for your nightly or going out looks the brown mascara won't emphasise your bold makeup. This is a great product for those who may be just starting to use makeup or people who aren't interested in putting on a full face of makeup everyday. The brown shade is a great option for light brown hair like mine and it makes you look like you have naturally flawless lashes. If you have blonde or light lashes USE THIS PRODUCT!!! :)  

I love Covergirl mascaras. This was not too dry or wet. My eyes are easily irritated and this mascara is one of the few I can wear all day, everyday. Applies evenly and definitely adds volume without being too clumpy. I prefer Covergirl's 'Clump Crusher' but would still buy/recommend this.

Very chunky brush which makes it hard to get lower lashes. Doesn't dry down quickly, and transfers easily. Better mascara's on the market...

I personally was not a huge fan of this mascara!While it applies quite evenly and does add volume (to an extent), I found that the formula was too wet and took very long to dry. When you’ve only got 10 minutes to get ready in the morning, every second of waiting in between coats of mascara count! The scent is also quite overwhelming and the mascara flakes throughout the day. The hardest part is taking it off – it smudges like crazy! Make sure to use an oil based makeup remover to remove it or people might think that you have noticeably darker eye bags! I loved the original Lashblast so I was quite disappointed to see that this didn’t do as well.
