Beauty Crew sent the Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate Shampoo and Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate Conditioner to a panel of women aged 18 and older with a variety of hair types and textures, who have broken and chemically, mechanically or environmentally damaged hair.

The shampoo and conditioner improved the condition of their hair and scalp: After using the shampoo and conditioner, reviewers noted a considerable improvement in the condition of their hair and scalp. Many said that their hair appeared to be shinier and less damaged, plus felt softer and was more manageable.

They minimised breakage, split ends, and detangled too: Review Crew® members said that their breakage and split ends improved after using the shampoo and conditioner. he combo also helped to detangle their hair, making styling a lot easier.

They prevented colour fade: Reviewers said that they noticed their hair colour appeared to last longer after dyeing it and the vibrancy of their hair colour improved too.

“The [Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate Shampoo] lathered well, smelt very professional (like I just walked into a salon) though was not overpowering. My hair prior to the trial was damaged, and frizzy — I have colour treated hair that lacked shine. After the first wash I noticed HUGE changes; my hair was smoother, shiny and felt hydrated. I would highly recommend this product to anyone that has a history of damaged hair.”

[You’ll] need to emulsify the shampoo in your hands to get the best results as this activates the something in the shampoo and makes it much easier to use in your hair… I would recommend it to anyone who bleaches their hair, and I highly recommend it if you have severely damaged hair, it really does work… [I’ll] continue to use it while growing out my bleached hair. [I bleached] my hair badly three times in a short amount of time, [but the shampoo] has made my hair stronger, reduced breakage significantly, and made it feel softer.”
