Reese Witherspoon has added herself to the growing list of celebs who have decided to get the chop for summer, enlisting the help of celebrity hairstylist Lona Vigi to help her achieve the perfect shoulder-length bob for the hotter months.
Reese documented the change via Instagram with a fun little boomerang, where Vigi can be seen putting the final touches on her new look: “Thanks for my new summer cut @lonavigi! 💇🏼♀️☀️”
Unlike other celebs who have recently gone for short, chin-length bobs with minimal layers and a striking middle part (we’re looking at you, Lily James and January Jones), Reese has opted for a slightly longer hairstyle, with her fresh ‘do just grazing her shoulders. Wearing her hair in a casual side-swept part, her new look features soft, buttery highlights and plenty of layers to add height and volume.
Kudos to Vigi for creating a slightly more versatile version of the season’s trendiest cut to perfectly reflect Reese’s signature style. Plus, by incorporating long layers, when it comes to growing her hair out, this cut will be a little more forgiving than its edgier counterpart, the chin-length bob.
